Hi, greetings from the Netherlands. I remember recommending Nightwish to you, but it was on a Queen video. Glad you loved this, I told you they are top notch. More people should get to enjoy this awesome band, that's why I keep recommending them. I think I said that you could expect the Nightwish fans to visit your channel and tell you all about this fantastic band. Looking at all the comments, I think they did! 😄 You are going to enjoy exploring their song catalog, for sure. There is a huge variety in styles, sounds and voices. I'm not going to give you all the details about the band, because I know Gabriel Bardac already did that in his comment. He also gave you a list with song recommendations. If you pick a video from that list, you can't go wrong. Enjoy your Nightwish journey. Take care.

Hello Beards React ! Nightwish fans here, your musical quest summoned us.
Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band, performing at Wacken Open Air in 2013, together with Floor Jansen, the 3rd and present female singer of the band, in front of an 82K+ audience.
About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners.
As I saw, you liked the powerful performance of the band. Hope you'll continue on this path.
Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory):
" Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland.
Tuomas Holopainen, the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [The 1st Bassist of the band was Sami Vanska, he was with them until 2001. The 2nd one was Marco Hietala, as Bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least - we'll see what the future brings to us. Then very recently (May 2021) Jukka Koskinen became the 3nd Bassist of the band, for at least the Human :II: Nature tour] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen . Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition.
Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her.
There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps.
I want to welcome you to the Nightwish community. I hope you like them enough to continue the journey. Believe me Nightwish will surprise you with their songs. You will never know what to expect. They are unbelievable live. I want to warn you that Nightwish fans are hard core. So be prepared. lol "
Hoping you'll continue this journey with us, I'll drop here a list of songs (with links) with the current lineup of the band you may like (please consider this list of links only as "a tip of the iceberg", an indication that they have a vast and very diverse repertoire, and not as something mandatory):

@Nightwish Arena: Since most of the reactors end up doing a lot of reactions from Wacken 2013 concert, they should be warned that there are a lot of slowed down and even high pitched versions of this concert, so it is better to use only official videos or this version of the whole concert: ruclips.net/video/cAwtzi7Q3Bk/видео.html
Last but not the least - they released their 9th studio album on April 10th 2020 named "Human :||: Nature" - just take a peek to their official playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLihZ3gi5Yvzc0pfH2cbNKUUX8o3pb8eVg (for example: "Shoemaker", the 3rd track from this album, tells the story of Eugene Shoemaker, one of the founders of planetary science, whose ash was sent on the Moon after his death, as a tribute from the scientific community ..)
The links presented above are with the current singer of the band, Floor Jansen, since I'm a fan of the recent era of the band, with Floor as the singer. That being said, I will add here the messages left the other days by some old fans of the band.

"Where has this band been?" U.S. music industry is controlled by a few corporations who only push candy pop, rap, hip-hop. The rest of the planet is overflowing with musical brilliance that never gets played on U.S. radio, TV, etc. Nightwish is the best band I've ever heard (I'm 74, and I've heard a lot).

Sad, but true. Canada is no better. A band like Nightwish has been huge in Europe and the UK for decades, and plays stadiums and areas. Here, in North America, they play large clubs and theatres. It's a shame that we have to seek out the music because Clear Channel decides what gets shoved down our earholes here.

Great conversation here. I think probably the biggest contributing factor to Amy being the only real "rock" female vocalist I grew up on is because the female vocalists here are traditionally pop. She's comparable to Floor in my opinion because I don't have anything else comparable. Ann Wilson from Heart is another popular powerful female vocalist here, but I dont personally think she holds a candle to either Amy or Floor. I'm loving all the information and polite conversation from the NW Army!!

    Great reaction.
Floor Jansen is a vocal athlete with incredible range, versatility, vocal stamina, and stage presence. She is a spinto soprano with a range of almost four octaves (D3-G#5-F6). When listening to her sing, it is apparent that she has spent the better part of her life fine-tuning her instrument with help from several vocal coaches. Floor can sing in multiple languages and genres and is a Master vocal coach. It is incredible how she is able to take any song from any genre and make it her own. This woman is a true gift to her craft and an incredible addition to a band that has always been great until 2013 when they officially hired the undisputed Queen of Metal, Floor Jansen, making Nightwish the greatest band on the planet. Welcome to the Nightwish rabbit hole. Nightwish Army U.S.A. 🇺🇸🤘🏽 ( Urban Operators ) in the house.

Nightwish Shadow Unit from Estonia reporting in ! Valkyrie Goddess spotted ! Gabriel Bardac entered !
Floor her name is derived from the Roman Goddess of Spring, Flora.
Floor Jansen is called the Valkyrie Goddess of Metal and Empathy. Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 4 octaves (Eb2 to F6)
She can sing from classical to belting and raspy vocals like screaming and death growls. And she's also a voice coach and teacher to boot.
Floor Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she gave singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016.
From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. Nightwish's second studio album with Jansen as front singer, Human. :II: Nature., was released in April 2020.
Our Metal Mozart Tuomas Holopainen (founder, leader, keyboardist and songwriter of Nightwish) is the main composer for Nightwish.
Tuomas the keyboardist writes about 95% of Nightwish songs, music and lyrics. He also composes the music for the backing track they use. It is recorded in London with musicians from The London Philharmonics. Pip Williamns helps with the orchestration. There are two London based choirs too on the backing track, the other one is a childrens' choir. And of course with a synth you can do a lot.
Marko Hietala is "The Viking" ( is a Finnish heavy metal vocalist, bassist and songwriter) is the former Bassist...
Emppu Vuorinen is the Electric Hobbit and trickster (Finnish guitarist, most famous for being a founding member of Nightwish and occasional songwriter).
Jukka "The Pirate" Nevalainen is the former drummer in the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish (left for health reasons, but is still a member behinde the scenes).
He Is famous among Nightwish fans for wearing a bandana on his head, even during shows, his energetic drumming style, and for his spinning of his drumsticks. Joined Nightwish at the age of 17. Now his friend Kai Hahto ("The Human Metronome", or in my book Kai "The Machine Gun" Hahto ) is a current drummer of Nightwish
And last but not least, Troy Donockley is "The Bard" (is an English composer and multi-instrumentalist most known for his playing of Uilleann pipes, tin whistle, vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, pump organ, bouzouki, cittern, bodhrán, mandola, harmonium, aerophone). You see him soon enough...
This was recorded at the 2013 Wacken ( pronounced Vahken) Open Air festival in Germany in front of an audience of 82,000 people. The fiery bull head is the symbol of the festival.
We hope, that there is more coming.
    🤘😎🤘.

Floor is a 6’1” Dutch vocal beast and has had some classical training.
Nightwish are definitely a band that should be reacted to live, the studio stuff is great, but live...they’re exceptional.Their music ranges from Rock,Folk,Celtic to name a few,and Floor goes from Opera through to growling and any other style that’s needed.

Gabriel will soon turn up with a long list of recommendations and a history of the band. His comment will be very long, so please adjust your spam filters if you have any. From his list, one of my personal favorites would be 7 Days To The Wolves (live at Wembley): two years later, Floor with tats and in warrior goddess mode, and another epic song, about seven minutes long.
By the way, if you want your music life changed again, here's still another band you might enjoy:

Floor Jansen ( Pronounced Yan-sen)is the epic singer. Stay live with this Wacken show, Ghost Love Score was the 13th song of a 15 song set! Lads, I discovered Nightwish about three years ago, yes I know, I'm a newbie compared to the hard core "Nightwish Army" troops who invade reactions like yours. I have been listening to good rock music since 1967, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd etc. right through to progressive rock in its various forms. I can tell you here, that in all my years of following 'good' music, I have never heard a band that can have such an emotional reaction on you that you tear up, lump in throat, ...and become virtually obsessed with them, they are more than just a band, they are a total experience of musical perfection, emotional release, and at some point you will reach that "Eureka" moment....yes, I have found it!

Floor Jansen ( pronounced Yahn-sen) is the current vocalist for Nightwish. She is from the Netherlands, but Nightwish is a Finnish band. Amy Lee has a very strong voice, but she has nowhere near the versatility or range that Floor has. Nightwish fans cringe at that comparison, but understand we Americans don’t have any other point of reference. You’ll soon discover that Nightwish is a very versatile band…no two of their songs really sound the same, and you’ll quickly see quite a distance from the Evanescence thing. You can’t go wrong with any of their live performances from 2013 and on, since Floor’s been the singer. From this same Wacken 2013 show I’d recommend Song of Myself, Storytime, Romanticide, and Everdream. Marko, the bass player, is also an amazing singer, as you’ll come to know. And yeah, we’re all in love with Floor.

That so very well put. Usually you see the generic angry comment about the comparison between Floor and Amy. Yeah, here in the States, we really don't have a close approximation to Floor's talent. It's not an insult for an American to think of Amy Lee when they hear Nightwish because she's all we have that is mainstream. I think a better comparison of vocal talent and power would be Ann Wilson of Heart. But even then, she's not classically trained, nor can she also growl. Floor is our unique Valkyrie queen.

@@chryse Honestly, I don’t really understand the need people (all of us) seem to have that requires everything to be “like” something else. We always try to define something new by comparing to something more familiar. I know I do it, too, and always ask myself why whatever it is can’t just exist on its own merits, why we can’t allow something to be unique. Human nature, I guess. Regardless…I agree…not an insult because I think we all do it without even thinking about it.

Few characteristics of Nightwish you might be interested in:
    1. this isn't their best song
    2. it's a huge hit which they don't copy in any of their pieces
    3. they are symphonic metal band (London Symphony Orchestra in the background), but not bound to one genre
    4. there is no need to listen to studio version since their live is phenomenal
    5. no song is written to be a filler, just to have an album
    6. they're probably the best kept secret in USA, since the producers over there wouldn't interest their audience in mainstream crap they sell over radio if people heard this level of quality before

It's a bold statement to say it isn't their best song.
It's the song that got most Tarja fans on board with Floor and that gets almost anyone to fall in love with her.
I'd say it's their most captivating song with maybe the best build.
It's really accessible despite its complexity. It's the best song to get to know symphonic metal when you're not used to metal.

    • @goranelez9956

@@miskatonic6210 best gateway drug to metal and best conversion to Floor, yes. Also, most reacted.
Captivating, hmm, I don't think so; Tarja's Siren or Sleeping Sun are better at that.
I would say Poet has the best build, so much thought went into structure and execution.
I might be mistaken, but it wasn't proclaimed to be the best by Nightwish fans and also by new reactors (after they hear enough songs and start making rankings).

When you listen to their music... Basically almost every song will become your new favorite song. You will find similarities, but will rarely feel much repetition in any of their music... Rather the contrary. Any song from Wacken 2013, Tampere 2015, Wembley Arena 2015 and Buenos Aires 2018 will be amazing.... And the "phantom of the opera" (with their 1st singer, this is their 3rd singer) and the pink Floyd Tribute "high hopes".... And in essence everything from their latest album "Human II Nature" as well. Be aware, the second disc is basically a 30 min instrumental, mainly classical arrangements only.... Well, about nature. The first disc is mainly about humans / humanity / human kind. That album I'd recommend to listen in the order, since some songs make more sense if they are in the place where they are placed on the album.
Well.... Choose anything from that, you'll have a new favorite song for sure at least most of the time

Nightwish was around before Evanescence. 1996 forward. Guitarist is Emppu Vuorinen playing signature ESP-EV-1 EV are his initials. Tuomas Holopainen plays keys and he's the music maker/composer of the band. Jukka Nevalainen was drummer in this vid, but due to severe insomnia he had to step down, current drummer Kai Hahto from Wintersun. Also from that Band new bass player called Jukka. Marko Hietala wanted to retire from media spotlight. Singer is Floor Jansen. 3rd and last front woman according to Tuomas. Also in some songs Troy Donockley is playing Uilleann pipes, they are bagpipes but made in Ireland. Not those Scottish Highlander pipes. He plays every instrument known to man. But mostly that bagpipe and flutes.
Anyway hello from Finland, home of Nightwish band.

    Great reaction! 👍🤘

Greetings from the UK! Info dump for you below!😁
Nightwish is a glorious rabbit hole of awesome, with world class song-writing, musicianship and arguably (or unarguably to most who've heard her enough😉) the best female vocalist alive today (maybe ever), the Valkyrie Queen of metal herself Floor Jansen (pronounced Yansen). Floor is a classically trained soprano and has a vocal range of more than 3 octaves (D3 to F6+).
Floor is the third female vocalist that Nightwish have had (and my personal favourite), she was only with them on tour for 10 months at this point and officially joined the band in 2013, she is still with them today.
    The other vocalists are -
Tarja Turunen - (1996-2005) - (Finland) - Very operatic focused vocals.
    Anette Olzon - (2007-2012) - (Sweden) - More pop-centric vocals.
Floor Jansen - (2012-Present) - (Netherlands) - Extremely diverse vocals, from deep growls to full on opera.
The other band members are/were -
Tuomas Holopainen - Song writer/composer and Keyboards. (Finland)
Marko Hietala - Bassist and vocals. (Finland)
    Emppu Vuorinen - Guitarist (Finland)
Jukka Nevalainen - Drums (Finland) Retired in 2014 due to health issues
Troy Donockley - Multi-instrumentalist and Vocals. (United Kingdom)
Kai Hahto - Drums (Finland) - 2014 to Present
Floor herself is Dutch and is another glorious goldmine of awesome as she has a lot of non-Nightwish related stuff (including 2 other bands, After Forever & ReVamp) that she has done that is all pretty amazing as well. She is also an absolutely lovely, funny, smart and grounded person (in fact all the band members are exceedingly down to earth individuals). She has her own channel here on RUclips where she regularly posts covers of songs.
The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter/composer and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen.
The name of the genre they generally belong to is Symphonic Metal but their discography is extremely varied.
The "Symphonic" backing tracks of their music is composed in the majority by Tuomas and performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
This was the 13th song in this particular set, Floor is belting notes like that the entire set.
Nighwish are almost always better experienced with live versions of their songs if at all possible.
Most new reactors are better off sticking with the Wacken 2013 set to begin with as it offers a taste of a lot of what Nightwish has to offer, they have multiple concerts though all of which are superb.
Some suggestions for more songs for you to continue your journey would be Storytime, Ever Dream, Romanticide, Ghost River, I Wish I had an Angel, Song of Myself, Dark Chest of Wonders, I Want My Tears Back and Amaranth all from Wacken 2013 (pronounced Vacken).
Saying that, anything from Wacken 2013 is golden really to start, there's a reason why that set is pretty legendary at this point, 82,000 people were in attendance.
Beware of some messed up slowed down versions of the Wacken 2013 songs as they can take the energy right out of the performances, just check the comments on them and I'm sure someone will mention if it's a slowed down version.
Your choice obviously but I'd avoid Poet and the Pendulum and The Greatest Show on Earth for now until you are more familiar with the band and it's history, they will make a lot more sense and be more enjoyable for you that way.
Prepare for the Nightwish army to arrive (and for Amy Lee to be shortly knocked into 2nd place😉) and enjoy your Nightwish journey, I know I did!😎🤘

There are no bad songs and each one you hear is very different from the other. And each one will become your new favorite. That might sound ridiculous but we have seen it over and over again. This is a live band. This is a rarity that the live music is better than the engineered versions. Stick with live.

Bearded big guy here, and just discovered Nightwish at the beginning of the year, I've been a rock/metal fan since the early 1980's, and this band is right there at the top of my list with Tool.
Don't get fooled by this one song, this band has many more sounds. I tell people they are like Metallica, Tool, Hans Zimmer and Transiberian Orchestra blended into one, with a badass rock vocalist who can sing any genre.
If you like heavier, try Nightwish - Romanticide for example to get some Pantera vibes.
Or more pop sounding try their song Storytime.
If you check the messages here, Gabriel has a great list to help you along your Nightwish journey! You won't be disappointed.

You guys have found greatness, you were not mistaken, and Queen Floor is the most powerful and versatile vocalist I have ever heard. I can't wait to see you guys react to more amazing Nightwish. Liking and subbing, Gabriel will set you up with history and songs to start this epic journey.

Firstly, love the reaction and welcome to Nightwish - what a fantastic journey awaits you! Nightwish have been around from 1996 so they pre-date Evanescence, although I'm not sure you could argue that Evanescence have copied Nightwish as their music is quite different. You'll find that Amy Lee Use to be your favourite female singer but, although she's a pretty good studio vocalist, she isn't on the same planet as Floor. Personally, I prefer a fair few other female vocalists to Amy Lee, but I understand that in the USA you won't have heard of many of them.

It's so great to see both of you completely surprised and exited about what you've just discovered: a fantastic 'rabbit hole' that is so deep that you will follow many more of all the suggestions on Gabriel's list. Good luck with it and welcome in the Nightwish Army (which is not only Dutch, by the way, but from all over the World). Floor, however is Dutch and we're so proud of her.

There were a couple of comments about which band being first. One said Evanescence, the other Nightwish. Both were partially right, so both were also partially wrong. Wikipedia states that Evanescence was founded in 1995, and Nightwish in 1996. But the first full length Nightwish album Angels Fall First was released late 1997, albeit in a limited edition of 500 only in Finland. The first Evanescence recording is apparently from 1998, and it was a limited edition of about 100 of an EP, not a full album. In the spring of 1999, Nightwish released their breakthrough album Oceanborn. The breakthrough album for Evanescence is Fallen (2003). So who was "first"?
But in the end, who cares? These bands are not really similar despite both having a female lead vocalist. Nightwish is part of the tradition of late nineties European metal bands with female leads, and that tradition still carries on.
All in all, a very nice reaction! I want to see more, so I liked and subscribed. If you can keep your open minds, you will be introduced to mindblowing metal from multiple continents.

When this was recorded Floor had been the replacement singer of Nightwish för just about 10 months. She did her first show in Seattle Wa on Oct 1st 2012 after the band fired Anette, their second singer. This was recorded Aug.3rd 2013.
This song wasn't on the set list for the tour originally since Anette didn't have the vocal ability to perform it. But Floor had heard the song when her first band After Forever" toured with Nightwish when Tarja, their first singer, was still in the band, and she loved it. So Floor asked Tuomas (the guy behind the keyboards) if they could make it a part of the set list. And they did, it was song number 13 of a 15 song set. There's som minor variations in the backing between Floors and Tarjas version, mainly that the choir have been reduced in volume. There's a video on youtube from, I think, Argentina, recorded Dec15th 2012. And there's one of Tarja doing it too. If you want to know more about how Floor got in to the band I can recommend a documentary, also here on RUclips called "Please learn the setlist in 48 hours"
If you follow the list Gabriel recommended you'll have a safe and pleasant journey down the Nightwish rabbit hole. It's tried and tested.

Here only to comment because you reacted to Nightwish... and you did very well... I enjoyed this a lot... Nightwish is just something else. I'm a die-hard underground techno fan, but do not tell anyone that I really enjoy listening (any) Nightwish songs as a my guilty pleasure. Floor voice just resonates directly to the feelings of a listener... and Tuomas (the keys) composes exceptional music. Nightwish Army calls him the Metal Mozart, very well suited nickname. Well all the band members are virtuosos on their craft...

Nightwish Army reporting from the Netherlands.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish.
    They are from Finland.
What you've heard here is just the tip of what this band can do.
Nightwish really hits you in your heart.
And that's what makes this band so unique.
Her name is Floor Jansen and she is Dutch.
    There were 82,000 people there.
Watch out for the Nightwish Army.

  • @dragonseye00

Oh, and maybe you want to react to floors appearances on the show "Beste Zangers" (a Dutch TV show where there are well known Dutch singers invited, each show is dedicated to one of the singers and the others will sing one of their songs for them, or some song that has a big meaning for the singer in the spotlight that evening. You'll get to hear floor sing in Dutch, Spanisch, German and English there....
Also you should check out her covers, which she publishes on her channel.
She sure is one of a kind, as you'll notice. That's just the first impression. Imagine that she jumped into nightwish during their US tour, because they fired their previous singer... And she had 48hrs to go to the USA and learn the setlist. This song was the first official video nightwish published with her, from Buenos Aires in 2012. She's only been part of nightwish for about 2 months by then. All songs written for other singers, being put into the band just in the middle of their tour. Not everyone could pull that off. At Wacken 2013,that was the penultimate show of their tour,. She's been in the band since October 2012, so a bit more than 9 months. But at this show she was officially still a substitution, not a permanent member. I think it's obvious that they asked her to join after resolving the tour with them in this tremendous way.
Also there is Troy, multi-instrumentalist. He only worked sporadically with the band on some albums and I think he was on tour with them the first time. He has been signed to be a permanent member as well. He adds the ullean pipes, flutes, a mandolin type guitar, ebow electric guitar, he also plays acoustic guitar..
Who. Knows what else you'll see him with 😂 he hasn't been on that song... But you will definitely notice his presence when he joints then in stage and adds his instruments to the mix. The drummer has changed after this tour because Jukka (this drummer) stepped down, as he suffered from insomnia for years by then).
Marko (bass guitar) has left the band last year. Mainly also for health reasons, he's with depression for a while and wanted some distance from the music business. When you start seeing / hearing more of nightwish you will know why basically every nightwish fan hopes that he'll be back for the next album and tour. Fingers crossed. The new bassist is also very good, but he simply can't sing like Marko, and the stage presence of Marko os one of a kind.... You'll find out.

Nightwish Army: I think we just scored a 2-in-1 bargain on new recruits! Just kidding! Great reaction guys! I must say though, I find it adorable a few times when you whisper to each other as to not speak over the music. It's very considerate of you but it defeats the point of a reaction video when it's hard to hear your reactions. ;-) Looking forward to seeing you react to more Nightwish; oh boy do you guys have a journey ahead of you! Welcome to the Nightwish family! This rabbit hole is vast and deep! All of their songs are epic but we all have our favorites. 7 days to the wolves is good, “the Islander” is one of my favorites, both the studio music video version, (worth watching that one first with lyrics for context) and the live performance of it by Marko, but both versions are quite different.
The ultimate songs and their longest is “the poet and the Pendulum” and “the greatest show on earth”. Both of those you should do a bit of research on before attempting them and if/when you do listen, find the lyrics versions for a deeper appreciation of them. They should both leave you speechless and emotional afterwards.. you’ve been warned! 😝

Hi! Nightwish Army here! Welcome in the world of Symphonic metal, in the world of Nightwish, with the best female vocalist Floor Jansen! You've seen only 10% from her singing. She is dutch, she's in a relationship with Hannes Van Dahl, the drummer of Sabaton, they live now in Sweden and they/she become a girl 4 years ago named Freja. Floor is with Nightwish since 2012 because the 2nd Nightwish singer Anette Olzon get ill on their US tour in 2012, so they asked Floor if she will sing for Nightwish, she had to learn the whole setlist in 48 houres but for her come a dream true! And from the first moment on 99,9% of all fans fell in love with her! Me too! Nightwish presented the new lead singer Floor for the first time an big 83.000 people publikum on this conzert in Wacken '13, and all fans loved her! Floor is unbelivible live! For me and many others she's the best female vocalist at our time! She can sing in so many different ways, from opera (look her opera song "O mio babbino caro", or Floor together with Simone Simons, lead singer from EPICA, singing together "Stabat Mater Dolorosa") or pop (look her Lady Gaga cover from "Shallow" from the Dutch "Beste Zangers '19" show) to metal! And whatever she sings - it's always so beautiful! You can also look on her YT channel where she did a lot of covers in the last year. Check it out if you have time! But i hope you go deeper in the rabbit hole and we see more Nightwish reactions from you, i'm sure Gabriel will send you a long list of Nightwish songs. Bye!
    Greetings to you from 🇪🇺Vienna🇦🇹!
