    gorgeous. I see it has the Zeibart protection, Garage door opener, Leather tool kit, I'd be curious to know if it has the umbrella in the console, That would make this Mark a very complete car. I actually fancy the Moondust blue Jubilees, but still. I"d stop in my tracks and turn around to talk to this owner.

      Guessing that the umbrella is in the triangular shaped box in the trunk.

    To have a DJE in this condition would be amazing. It’s so hard to find one with the Took Kit in the trunk still. People are selling those for around 500$. To have the hood ornament in that good condition is amazing as well. People are selling an original DJE hood ornament still in the box for 1000$. I recently seen one in mint condition selling on EBay lately. I think it sold for about 16,000$ I’ll have mine lookin like that once I put some more money into it

    OMG my parent's had a car like this in red color and they threw it away in the junk yard because the motor blew out. I wish that we would of fixed it and just kept it.

    I had the same one. One owner 25k when I purchased and 13yrs later 45k when I sold it. Wishing I had kept it.

    Mine had a sticker price of $21899

      A little known fact except the Mark V owners, the Diamond Jubilee package was a 7000 dollar option, raising the price of this car, making it the first Ameirican made car to exceed the 20 thousand dollar mark.

    • @richardestenson7799

      Equal to $85K in 2022.

    Love the car, hate the cloth interior! So much nicer in leather or the standard velour. Why they used this crap in the car is beyond me,

    • @JamesGalloway27
      @JamesGalloway27 2 года назад +2

      just because it is not leather does not make it crap. the reason many makers were choosing cloth in this 10-20 year period, especially in luxury cars where comfort trumps style, they chose it for noise deadening. in a car that spacious, you can literally hear your voices echo. road noise is significantly louder as well. in a cloth interior vs. leather of the same cars of this era, the experience is significantly louder and more "outside" feeling with leather.

      @@JamesGalloway27 You obviously DID NOT read my post carefully. I am talking about that specific 'cloth' material used on the Jubilee and Collector's series. Other velour materials were gorgeous that were used on the Mark V. This material looks like crap. Pure and simple. I never stated only leather should be used in luxury cars, just not this foam feeling/looking junk. Thanks

      @@dolotsofacid When you get a chance, take a look at the Versailles interior on a 1976 Cartier Mark IV. That, to me, is the most gorgeous Mark interior.

      Not only that this type of cloth fade very fast and badly! The gold ones turned to a pinkish beige. Only the super low mileage garage kept trailer queens survived the fading
