I would like to see the private sector add two adjoining office complex of 4 to 5 stories for office which create more jobs and to generate more business traffic. The government must next upgrade or rather rehabilitate the Ken Jones Airports as well as the wharf

Do you know thst when the private sector is involved, they are getting the land for almost free? Do you not think that the citizens there will be displaced as they cannot afford to live there? Do you think poor persons will be able to live there?

what kind of jobs will the ordinary youth be accesed away from being maids for tourists? Are 5hey putting up factories?

@@trishnewman910 We need to get this idea that people are rushing to work in factory as the major industries currently are the hospitality, health care and service industry as these are the major sectors driving economic growth. I was looking at the news and it says in the USA these are the major industries adding jobs. No body is coming to jamaica tonopen factories as Mexico, China and Asia are far more cheaper for businesses to open factory. If jamaica was an attractive to open factories then a lot of new companies would have already done so. Businesses are coming to jamaica because we all speak English and that makes jamaica far more competitive for people operating BPO. Thus the reason why so many BPO are coming to Jamaica
