These are all meant to assist in the mission at hand, and thus will change accordingly depending on said mission. Unless they can efficiently store any extra weapons to carry just in case, cuz, y'know, this is war. You need weapons. It's not at all the liefeld effect when you're talking mechs. Everything is meant to hold a purpose with mech design.

They're unegotiatioable to the duties and brutal against the enemies of the Country as well.
