The Symbiote in 616 wasn't evil. It was just a pet that amplified Peter's abilities possibly including anger, but when Peter realized the suit was alive and wanted it gone, that pissed off the Symbiote so when it attached to Brock, the suit and him both wanted revenge on Peter. Later in the comics the Symbiote's violent tendencies was the result of being so far from it's home world. There's also a story where because it was attached to Deadpool before Spidey, where that also could have an affect on the Symbiote (not sure if that was 616 canon but worth mentioning). Hell, even Eddie became a hero for a bit in Venom: Lethal Protector. In the 982 universe the Symbiote even saved Mayday Parker's life. So for the 616 and the 982 universe the Symbiote itself isn't evil (though if it got on anyone evil, that's bad). For other universes, that's a different story.

If you want to read comics use marvel unlimited. It's £40 a year (for UK) and you get access to the majority of their comics, including all the spiderman ones.

Stan Lee deserves a lot of props for how much impact he had in the comics and making spider man. He did something that people thought was a bad idea and thought that a teenager can’t be a primary superhero, just a side kick but Stan Lee changed that.

Huge Spider-Man fan favorite series is the Spectacular Spider-Man series that would play every saturday morning for me. Taskmaster is a Captain America villain not Spidey's. Agreed with Venom and Mysterio that would be cool. Id also say Doctor Octopus for Batman instead of Carnage, cuz Batman could use his detective skills to figure out Doctor Octopus's master plan.
I liked Spiderman up until all that "Brand New Day" stuff. My favorite story arc was probably "Spectacular Spiderman".

Goku or Kakorot as his sayin name is was sent to Earth as an infant with the simple task of eradicating all life on the planet which he would do during the full moon which would turn him into a giant gorilla creature. When he landed on Earth he was found by Gohan, a radish farmer who adopted him but being a sayin Goku was rowdy and bratty until one day where he fell and hit his head on a rock and nearly dying. When he awoke he was well behaved and nice even listening to Gohan however one night during a full moon Goku turned into the gorilla creature and ended up killing Gohan (I don't remember exactly what happened) and lived alone on Gohan's radish farm until meeting with a young girl named Bulma. That is about all I know of his history and I probably got a few things wrong but there you go.

Yeah comics are pretty good and interesting. They aren't repeats like most movies when they have a next part. Each part of a comic has a different ending not the same like he always gets the girl.

by the way that not really the orgin of spideys creation. Joe simon creator of captain had the idea called sylverspider but put it away then left comics. Then kirby took it to stan without Joe's permission. Stan rejected it then brought it to ditiko which then they brought it to martin goodman.
