I liked when Spiderman fought the Firelord (a herald of Galactus ). I forget what issue, but Firelord was chasing Spidey all around the city .....and then Spidey said, "Enough is Enough" and proceeded to pound Firelord into the ground with his fists. No symbiote, granted powers, no nothing just plain Spiderman.

He can't deadlift 1600 tons or even half that. He was just holding them together. I remember in The Amazing Spider Man 1999 comic issue 35 where he injected something his arm and when Morlun had touch him it made Morlun weak. and Spider-man started to beat the heck out of him until a guy came and Shot Morlun And he was dead for good.
