An Activision dev has said perma bans do not come from reports. That means they have have found something that was nefarious or 3rd party stuff you shouldn't be using.

I've played professionally in a couple games, I've reached the highest ranks in apex, halo, COD and do pretty well in cs and Valorant, there is no chance a lot of these people are legit. If you haven't played at the top you don't know bc you haven't experienced the best in the game for several years. There is A LOT of cheating.losers out there. Wall hacks are enough for any great player to become the best.

He has been permanently banned. Regardless of whether an unlock tool was used or someone else ranked up his account, the responsibility ultimately lies with him. Like many others, he may never admit to it. However, there is a pressing need for more severe penalties for cheaters, particularly when they have as high a profile as Bams.

You should do your research because there have been a lot of false ones. Whether it be not playing for years and coming back to a ban, banned during a beta, banned before even opening the game and the craziest one is being falsely perma banned and then unbanned a day later with no email or apology stating the reason behind the initial ban. Plenty more cases with solid proof they weren't cheating, not every ban is legitimate and not every banned player is hacking.

I got false permanent banned too on Xbox in Vanguard and never cheated a day in my life. I actually hadn’t played the game for months at the time and got banned for literally no reason at all.

This happened to me three days ago I’m 42 years old. I play on a PS five my account was hacked a month ago. I did nothing about it other than change my password and get my account back and now I’m permanently banned. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on my account I grind hard I play with my two boys14 and 12 now my life is over. I feel I’ve done nothing wrong. I’m willing to take a lie detector test.
I bought a computer secondhand I installed the game in the computer with my account on it as soon as I launch the game Call of duty banned me I think it was the computer that was banned and it banned my account also
Dude better hush up with making public statements about continuing to play on alt accounts and friends accounts. Permanent Bans don't allow you to play on any accounts. If dude starts streaming on friends accounts or alt accounts, it will take one report, and minimum research/verification on Activisions end, than any accounts this dude is playing on will also be permanently banned.

Bams gets banned right after Ricochet’s new detector detected over 63,000 cheating accounts. And now many cheat providers have on their websites their spoofers among other things have been detected by Ricochet. I wonder if Bams is guilty or if this is a good update.

I got perma banned because someone hacked my acc and was playing it on Steam in Korea. I don’t even have a PC and only play on Series X. I’m also trash at the game just played occasionally for fun. I’m starting to feel like this is an inside job for Activision to rack up money from people repurchasing content. How is it people can easily just hack Activision accounts? Frustrating because I did buy quite a few bundles. This is definitely the last activision title I will ever purchase.

Unlock tools, soft hacks, rage hacks, is all against ToD when you start up the game. Some people might not like it but in all that fine text you skip at the start of the game…I guarantee they address it. Of course he’s gonna act innocent there’s a big difference from permabanned like he did and showdow bans.

That's because mw2 had a cheat service where buddy could manually ban you lock you out of servers 😂 remove you from game. Took them a moment to fix that but anyone who lost there account had to make a fresh one.
