      Not recommended. 12mm boleh pakai ulang 2-3 kali. Terlalu nipis senang rosak, pecah, maksudnya tak tahan lamaZ

    I just want to ask if the effective depth of the beam is observe otherwise the strength of the beam according to structural design is affected.

    oil is used so the form work will not stick to the concrete but i can see that most of the rebars are also soaked with the oil. They should use the plastic wrap on the forms while laying the rebars.

    it is very interesting to see that concrete beam are made prior to casting slab. i suppose this can reduce labour workload per day and also benefit from a sturdy beam to support the slab pouring. But an important question, is it as strong as the beam+slab that is poured together at the same time? if not, then what other extra procedure are necessary to be taken to improve the bond and strength?

    • @jaumetolentino5339
      @jaumetolentino5339 2 года назад +1

      Great point of observation there. Actually it will not be the same if casted monolithically, there is a good reason to that based on the formula in getting the moment. Most contractors always used this method.

      Listen this is a better pour, this is how it was dont through the 1960’s in america. What people dont understand is how rich america is in talent and resources like wood timber and germans and Scandinavians and Africans are big people. Capable of muscling concrete. To pour monolithic beam and floor you need pumps and better concrete mixes and additives that are simply not available in developing countries. Also the supporting structurs like beams cross beams and posts are tremendous. This is good work, really respect these guys the bar was well set and chair railed. Form work really good.

    • @halalmeatshophk
      @halalmeatshophk 2 года назад

      @@dekonfrost7 I wonder of this type of construction first pouring beams and later slabs is still taught with load calculations. I would really love to have some academic documents about its structural integrity.
      I can imagine that these beams are build differently compare to the monolithic ones.

    • @Nick32176

      They should use the cover block at the same time when laying the rebars. They already oiled the boards and also walking on the rebars. Any part of the rebar touch the oily board will not bond with concrete. This is the main reason in most cases when the buildings fall apart shortly after construction.

    • @halalmeatshophk
      @halalmeatshophk 3 года назад

      the segregation should be avoided, but it seems the concrete mix has not be performed properly in the first place, because water is clearly seen pouring out of concrete immediately from the pour before the vibrator is placed.

      When pouring concrete on a slab, more consolidation by vibrator should be concentrated only on beams and columns becuz slab is just thin and is always compacted by workers' weight. Vibrator should not be laid horizontally on the mixture and it should only take only about 5 secs about 60cm apart...it's a common-sense job for the operator when consolidation/compaction is the main goal.
