CockneyRebel73,ur neighbourz would hate me I've got a old sound system in my cellar, gonna put it in my garden and tump this out,my own private park life, hahahahahahahahaha
@@danielelliott5532 that's the most real statement I've ever heard. It was sacrilege to listen to anything but the underground sounds back then and those grunger safety pinned noses were shunned by ravers for being weirdos. I remember a sound system in the early days of warehouse raves called Scam. A card with a number on to call to get directions to a train station and call another number for directions from there. We ended up in an old school building out in Essex with the main central hall for the acid house and one side classroom for green haired freaks all in black being entertained with Goth. That room shut down at like 2am due to sound issues and all these weirdos off their noodles on acid came to join us ravers. It was a surreal experience. Or maybe that was just the Purple Oms made it surreal to be dancing with what most of us considered weirdos. They were actually decent folk tbf and we had a good giggle with em. Saw a few of them again at the next Scam but they'd been converted to the underground by then. Gone was green hair and whistles and fisherman's hats were out in force 😂

To me, this was one of the best tunes ever. Hearing this at Dungeons at 6am, in the sun with that many dodgy freaks all in one place, the old bill knew the streets were safe for that day! Amazing track.
Thanks for this. First proper rave tune I ever heard , it was about 34 years go , I was in a squat in the UK and tripping on a Pink Floyd . Never forgotten , changed me forever
Bashing the Renault 5 round NE London late at night, seeking out the pirate stations. 1992-95. Accelerating. Driving ridiculously fast through Stamford Hill or alongside Wanstead Flats. What times they were.
Listening to this again takes me back to smoking in cars. First time I heard it remember feeling like a part of my brain had been unlocked and knew it would never be the same again. It wasn't, ill be forever glad for that. The tunes of this period formed a lot of us and we are the better for it, convinced of that.... "Request to all I equal acid people!"
I was listening to Eurythmics and my mind catapulted me back to roller express Edmonton , wow haven’t thought about that in many years many thx for posting this track
Used to play this at local youth club disco when I started doing at 15, saw ragga twins at phenomenon at Bridlington leisure world, then saw then shoplifting at petrol station after. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 fuckn legends. Mint night🤗
