- Hey guys and welcome back for another episode with us Benny and Meeka. We're in Khao Lak, Thailand and this where we'll be exploring the beautiful surrounding marine parks, home to Surin islands and Similan islands. Within reach is an incredible road trip and viewpoints overlooking the Phang-Nha Bay. This episode of Khao Lak will be in 2 parts. For this video we'll be going to Similan Island. Oh & we should probably introduce ourselves...
We are Benny and Meeka, a travel couple from Australia who have been travelling on and off for 10 years and even lived in the UK from 2019 - 2021.
We are currently in SE Asia and are making our way back to the UK to reunite with our Mercedes Sprinter van we purchased before the world shut down and we left back to Aus.
About 4 months ago we decided to document our travels as we make our way across the globe, so join us for the ride.

Did you use some kind of waterproof camera or just your phone? What would you recomend for under water filming? The footage is unreal 🤩
We use our go pro! Highly recommended as it’s beautiful snorkelling there 😍😍
I thought the best snorkeling/diving is in Australia!
We think the Surin Islands takes the cake here 🙌🏽 Australias Great Barrier Reef is amazing.. but a lot of coral bleaching and damage has been done in the places we have visited sadly 😢
