Oh my goodness, another gorgeous city in Germany, and a fabulous video to lift my spirits while staying in shape on my treadmill! Thanks ever so much!! Your videos are much appreciated!
German historic towns are imo the quaintest, prettiest and most romantic towns in Europe. Unfortunately not many towns that were untouched by war are left. Those that are left look like straight out of a Grimms' fairy tale though. I also recommed you the town of "Rothenburg ob der Tauber". It is imo even better than Heidelberg and you might enjoy it a lot. :)
@@appleslover they rather destroyed architecture, even buildings which could be saved. Rothenburg is indeed very beautiful (or also Dinkelsbühl nearby, and bamberg) but there arent much cities like these. Most bigger cities dont have soul and culture imo, they lost its face completely.
I heard that Germany has many beautiful castles and I wanted to travel to Germany for photography, but watching this video I realized that even the streets of Germany are great for photography.❤️📸
Greetings from Brigitte in Tulsa Oklahoma USA formally from Stuttgart Germany. What a Beautiful Town! I'm sure Students love going to college here. I was amazed how very few flower boxes and clocks are here, in comparison to other places in Germany. Lot's of upgrading here, I see. Glad to see some flower boxes here in this courtyard right before you took that high steep walk to castle. 50:11. What a climb up to castle, as I hear you breathing from it. 55:48 Was worth the view at 56:24 Thank you for taking us inside that beautiful church 45:31 I bet the acoustics are amazing when the Pipe Organ plays. Wow, a market place attached with canopies onto a beautiful church! (no comment added here). At 34:43 we hear how well your Osmo microphones are! 8:56 ALSO, The acoustics in the alley are amazing, as the invisible piano plays. However, I do like your external microphone better. Haha! This was a lovely walk. I love the unedited videos you make. If anyone wants to know more details of the area, here is a great video explaining it all in great details. ruclips.net/video/8JTAiYo4ox8/видео.html Until next time, Thank you again, Daniel for sharing your walk in Heidelberg Germany.
Naoki Urasawa’s Monster anime brought me here, this is the city where Nina Fortener lives (fictional). Would love to visit in person one day! Thank you for filming this 😍 feels like I’m there
Germany has a lot of beautiful cities, but I'd argue that Heidelberg is the MOST beautiful. Despite the contemporary shops and signs, the storefronts and facades haven't changed all that much since medieval times. I can't think of a more ideal (to say nothing of picturesque) location for the country's first university!
Man german citys they are stunning very organized the german people seems very educat because the german citys is so clean and organized im impressed Thanks for the vídeo man you rock!!!
Right now I am studying to get accepted to Heidelberg University and this video plays in the background to keep me motivated. Please you all, wish me luck because I need plenty.
Best of luck! There are a few more video of Heidelberg on the channel: ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=poptravel+heidelberg One more is coming soon from a rainy evening: ruclips.net/video/P8tQgHwfxgg/видео.html
Yes, I walked up one path in another video. I think it was called the Philosopher's Path up there where you have a great view. I'll post it later. Beautiful place
Interesting to hear. The RUclips algorithm is playing around with this video I think. It's one of over 100 of such walks on the channel. I think there are better ones yet the Heidelberg video right now gets more clicks than others so I'm happy with it
Good memories of Heidelberg from years ago. By the look of all that tack outside the Cathedral the city must get overwhelmed by tourists at times like so many other places in Europe now.
When things are broken, they get fixed. Nothing lasts forever. Especially roads are constantly getting fixed somewhere. High season for newq construction sites is end of the year when left-over budgets have to be spent
Interesting question. 😎I had free time this year and planned the trips a bit. I've also been to most places before so I could travel faster on my 2nd visit. For example here to Heidelberg I came from Trier/Luxembourg, then spent two nights in Heidelberg and went onwards to Strasbourg (1n) and Freiburg (1n) next .. many other places after... Also, the video order is mixed to make it more interesting. I sometimes filmed several walks - even on one day, though they will be posted time after time. I should post the routes and maps though sometime on a blog so it's easier to follow. At the moment I'm traveling again (right now in the UK) - going home soon. It was good fun. My website will share some tips. Typing it all in is more work than the videos though.
Heidelberg is city where ilama Muhammad iqbal were studing at university 😊💐one road is named after the name of ilsma iqbal [ iqbal ufer ] national poet of pakistan who gave the idea of pakistan
You know the most exciting thing about Heidelberg is a road, which is named after Allama Iqbal. Iqbal Ufer is named after Allama Muhammad Iqbal who had spent six months in Heidelberg learning German.
Portugal and Spain are surely coming to the channel. Lisboa is one of my favourite cities in Europe and there are tons of interesting places in Spain. I think spring would be a good time there

actually students hate it there - prices are astronomically high for rents and daily stuff.

Heidelberg always looks so small from the bridge, it actually is really big when you walk through it.
