I lost my dear husband 5 1/2 years ago, my mothering aunt a year later and youngest son one year ago., This piece of music speaks to me too. Thank you for this lovely song Tom".

A pleasure to him playing, and his own compositions. The light is still burning.

It is a real pleasure to hear Tom playing Slockit Light at the pace he intended. So many folks these days seem to play this far too slowly, more like a dirge ... something that Tom found a little annoying. His simple phrasing and style really bring this tune to life without fancy ornament or affected melancholic speed

I've had the great honour to meet Tom In Stirling and then to stay at his home in Lerwick. I was not a good fiddler bur with him I could play very well. And it was the first time someone would come from France to meet him. We had great time in Lerwick pubs. Marvellous memories...

It was my privilege to have met Tom. I play his Da Slockit Light as a finger style guitar piece arranged by the late, David Surette. Also feature it in my group, The Celtic Village Show Band here in central Florida, USA
