Great review, I agree with everything you said here, especially the part about "Against All Odds" and "Hit 'Em Up". "Against All Odds" should get more praise as a diss track. "Hit 'Em Up" got watered down before the release. The original version with the longer verses was much better and would've had more of an impact if it got properly mixed.
I'm not going to lie, "Toss It Up" is such a bizarre song and I hate the lyrics in it, even though I think it sounds good. It starts out with 2Pac rapping about making love to a woman, features crooning R&B vocals that conjures up imagery of romance, and then 2Pac just randomly starts dissing Dr. Dre in the second-half. Musically, it's good. Conceptually, it's a tonally inconsistent mess that sounds more like 2Pac would rather make love to Dr. Dre than beef with him.
