im training to be a wrestler myself and hebner came by the school on Tuesday. he was having a hard time moving around and could barely get inside the ring, i was pretty shocked to see how good he was moving around.
Truthslayer recently mentioned how Hendry isn’t any good in the ring and it really stuck with me because it speaks to my overall distaste for North American / Western pro wrestling these days. It’s like all you have to do is get a catchphrase (“yeah!”) or a goofy catchy theme song and you’re considered to be over. But give it a couple more weeks and people will have tired of Hendry just like they tired of Knight. All style no substance is how American wrestling can be described for me these days.
