I wish this video was around in 2020. If it were I wouldn't be a single Mom wishing that I made a better choice in terms of my daughter's father. I was so lost in 2020 that I let a not so good man, or a boy trapped in a man's body be the father of my only daughter. I thank God everyday for letting me have a supportive family. My daughter and I are currently living with my parents. I'm slowly getting on my feet, and living with Sickle Cell that is HARD. But I'm learning how to put God first because I have learned that no matter what He needs to come first. I read His word to my daughter every night as a bedtime story and she sleeps throughout the night. However, because of my failed relationship with her father and all of the grade school crushes having no interest in me at all. I feel like men just see me as a tool. I'm struggling on seeing myself the way God sees me. Like in 2020. I often feel like I'm not worth God's time or energy. I know that's false because of a heart to heart that God and I had. But the feeling is still very powerful. How can I lessen or even get rid of that feeling?
Speak the Word of God over you daily! His Word is truth and it is alive! His Word gives us hope and we speak it by faith! Continue to speak God’s Word until you see yourself the way He sees you and claims you to be! His Word is bigger than what we feel, or think! Woman of God, speak over yourself and declare daily how you are made in the image and likeness of Creator God! That you are fearfully and wonderfully made! All of that makes a big difference. Trust me I can tell you there’s times when I style my hair certain way and I don’t like myself but when my hair is styled away that I like, I feel so confident so sexy so sometimes just the way we do I our hair can add confidence. Also you are a brilliant and beautiful woman; you are not your illness I encourage you like the lady said before me in the comments, make sure that you are declaring God’s word over yourself whatever he’s promised you write it down, tape it to your wall and mirror and speak it to yourself, speak life to yourself.
