regarding volume, bear in mind that with EQ enabled, maximum sample rate will be limited to 48 kHz. Simply put, disable the EQ for volume gain🙂

Sony XM4's doesn't support LDAC in Multi point connecting only with single device. The M50xBt2 does LDAC on my android and AAC on my iPhone/iPad which blew my mind for a device to be connected to two BT codecs at the same time.

Thank you Dante for your critique on these headphones. You touch on all the key elements, that are a big consideration on my decision to purchase, or not to purchase these headphones. I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation and look forward to future assessments.

I own both XM3 and this one and prefer M50x when it comes to sound quality. Sony sounds muddy, Sony is good for pop music because of the bass. For rock musics M50x shines!

These and AKG K371 are my favorite closed backs. The AKG wireless I mean, the BT one isn't good

Great review man! I didn't know that you can have it connected to two devices and switch seamlessly. That's exactly what I need! You have a very soothing voice btw. Your audio sounds great too! You definitely need some background lighting though. Also, your image looks a bit on the warm side and your framing is a bit low. Either way, I love your vibe. Keep grinding!

Nice Review. If you compare the ATH-M50xBT2 To the Bose NC 700 or Bose Q45/Sony WH-1000XM4 or WH-1000XM5..What you will choose one comes in Overall Sound Quality/Comfort/Build Quality/Battery life and Charging/Features/App and Why please?

Great review! Have you tried comparing the sound using the cable vs wireless? Im planning on using it for electronic drums too.

No. I use them around the house. I don’t want the wire to get caught on something

They need charge to put the cable and listen?? Or charge need only for connecting Bluetooth devices?

With cable you don't need power, in fact if it's on, plugging the cable will turn it off
