This is true, Ubisoft, Ghost Recon-Wildlands is perhaps a gathering of all the elements (stories, legend, history) for the storyline, from all of Bolivia’s neighbor's and packaged into the finished storyline.
The story of Ghost Recon -Wildlands, In the near future, the country of Bolivia in South America has been taken over by a Mexican drug cartel: The Santa Blanca, to become South America’s center for both production and distribution of cocaine, along with help from the government forces (The Unidad: paramilitary) The general population are prisoners into helping the cartel, the whole of Bolivia seems to be hostage to the Santa Blanca Cartel, that is nearing the creation of a Narco-State.
