Not only in Moondram pirai but all the movies Kamal looks like a that community boy acting in the movie. Especially Kamal and Silk Smitha dance in the Moondram Pirai is very irritating. Sivaji Gaeshan proved in many movies like Uthama Puthyran, Sorgam, Passa Malar, Padikkatha Methai, Neerai Kudam, Thangai, Thirumbi parr, Puthya Paravai, Thanga Surangam, Theruduan, Iruvar Ullam, ThilanaMohanmabal and many great movies. We can't watch any of the Kamal old movies now a days but we can watch most of the Sivaji old Movies now a days. Kamala Hassan doesn't fit into poor man, fisher man, King and comedy roles. But Sivaji Gaeshan fit ito all the roles. Till today foreigners love to watch Sivaji old movies videos but not Kamal movies. Sivaji is a legend and only legend.

There were many better looking artists than Kamal in those days. They can't shine because they don't have any supports from movie industries. I saw Kamals Kallathur Kannama movie only 10 minutes because I can't watch the whole movie because of Kamals ( over acting and his loud voice) artificial dominating acting. In my honest opinion other child would have acted a lot better than him. Kamal acted many Tamil movies because he has a big support in movie industry. Sivaji Ganeshan was a versatile actor. Other actors Rajini, Kamal, Aravinda Swamy , Dhanush, Vijay they are entertainers. Actor Mic Mohan, Karthik better entertainers. They are not Versatile actors. They are like bubble gum. Taste and spit it out. We can't watch these movie actors old movies 10 years from now. They can't act movies like Deiva Magan, Pasa Malar. Veera Pandya Kattapoman, Kappalotya Tamilan, Paar Magaeley paar, Thanga Pathakam, Kalata Kalyanam, Sivantha Mann, gnana Oli and many Sivaji Gaeshan movies. Sivaji Gaeshan Bharatham dance in Pattum paratham movie is a better than Kamals dance. Kamals plus point is his skin color.
