  • Educational. Kreneks underrated electronic composition.
    The idea of a Whitsun oratorio originated in the composer's mind as far back as 1948. But it was only after becoming acquainted with the potential range of musical expression offered by electronic music that his original conceptions, which went beyond the scope of a normal score, could be realized.

    I wonder how this was done? Like, what was the workflow here?

      It would have been a long process of creation.
      The composer &/or his co-producer(s) would have been splicing all these overdubs by hand from magnetic tape reel, most probably from high-speed reels since this is German & Germans value high fidelity, which means a high sampling rate, which means a fast, not slow, -moving recording tape speed.
