As a melee pleb, I didn't even hesitate to buy vestments. The amount of damage I heal from soul split now easily makes up for the extra damage received. I can also attest, that vestments at kerapac is a complete overhaul to the fight giving you so much more room for thresholds etc. I don't even have limitless, and it feels almost like I don't need it with all the adrenaline I've got on hand, being at 50% is cake. I do a chaos roar and a zuk spec at the end of my berserk now, if you leng spec just before the start of the kill it can provide an initial hit of 20k when critting. As the bleed damage afterwards is based on that initial hit, the last 5 bleed hits of the zuk spec hit 10k. it's beautiful!
A thing to remember if people put Meteor Strike into that general rotation, you can get *40%* more crit chance with it with the POF dinosaurs. And, at that point of ult usage, with the zuk cape overpower, berserk, and that, all of those work with the ring of vigor, arch relic, _and aura_ , which all stack, at that point ultimates basically cost no adrenaline at all.
Yup, that is possible. It's very similar to how Inspiration is really good with Ranged and could potentially match Reckless. If Melee can also benefit, then by all means it should try for those crit refunds although again it's going to introduce a lot of RNG because it's not just about Meteor Strike critting, it's everything else.

What’s the best perks you are equipping havoc bottom and top with? Starting, I got enhanced devotion on one gizmo of bottom first, can you enlighten me further?
Unless youre a melee locked account, start off with magic to get your first few capes done and unlock Hardmode. Magic with gano, obsidian helm, animate dead, t80/85 dw with GConc is really easy and straightforward. Depending on your skill level, Zuk might be a pain with budget gear but once you’ve unlocked the magic Zuk cape, then the next few runs will be easy since omnipower is really good for the igneous and challenge mobs. If you’re wanting to get Havoc, you’ll definitely want Zuk Overpower unlocked beforehand since if you overpower during berserk, it’s basically zero adren cost with CoE and Vigour. Zuk Overpower during Zerk is even more viable with the 3piece Havoc effect since you’ll have more adren to get off more thresholds or dump EoF specs.

While brews heal more than rests, they also drain your combat stats (attack, strength, mage, range) slightly, even while overloaded (overload refreshes your stats every ~5(?) seconds or so). Guthix rests have no stat drain, despite their lower healing, so eating them alongside solid foods (typically blue blubbers) works out better overall for when you need to keep your stats as high as possible
even though tmw effect doesnt directly reduce overall incoming damage, having the tmw bleed allows soulsplit to heal you when it otherwise wouldnt be able to during the ticks when your health is full, which can actually add up to a ton of extra health healed as opposed to not having tmw set effect.
That's a bit backwards. TMW helps spread out the occasional big hit to be more easily out-healed with Soul Split. If you were able to survive that big hit already, you would be able to out-heal it anyways. Not being able to heal with Soul Split at max health is more of an AFK poison build thing which can be completely improved upon by using a black crystal to damage you while healing to really juice poison. And even then, only Telos even has benefits with offsetted damage. Every other boss is either too weak, is not suited for Melee anyways (like Zuk), or is Kerapac which has different advantages that makes vestments better anyway.

The direction jago is going with melee just pisses me off. I don't want to have to add MORE switches to my rotation. This is getting ridiculous. I am honestly over it and losing motivation to even play because of this shit. Additionally, all of the APM necessary to optimize melee and its still beaten by range and mage... and this increased damage comes at the cost of taking even MORE damage... while mage can literally use tank gear and still out dps melee. This is so dumb to me.
I keep seeing people parrot Ranged being better than Melee before the T95 bow came out and it's incredibly funny because that stopped being completely true after the scourge/Jaws of the Abyss came out, with multiple places where Melee won over Ranged. T95 bow might have changed things again but Melee also got very good power jumps with the update.

I even liked how melee requires utilizing dw and 2h more than the other styles, it was fun to me. But this is getting ridiculous man. Between death costs for the loads of switches and the apm necessary for optimal dps, I AM losing motivation to play. You're at like 250+ APM on your videos. It's absurd that jagex expects their players to have to do this in order to optimize melee. I refuse to believe they aren't aware of this stuff when they release this gear. Releasing the t95 duals just to reduce the mh to yet another switch with a new t92 whip being released, which requires using a worse helmet to utilize correctly, that now also has to be switched. And making melee take even more damage than they already took to compete. I dunno man. I'm just getting tired of it
You usually just need 100, with a few ultimates having ways to discount them further (the ultimates the Igneous capes boost get reduced to 60%, while Tsunami can be reduced to 40% with max stacks of Incite Fear’s passive buff)
@@michaelscott8424 as Jelle said it only raises it by a bit. I believe 20.4k is typically the max you can hit with melee on a crit with like grim, smoke cloud, leng spec, etc. You can technically hit 30k though

the bleed from EZK is independent from the initial hit, you can boost the initial hit but it won't increase the damage the bleed does.

why do you use Guthix Rests instead of Brews?
While brews heal more than rests, they also drain your combat stats (attack, strength, mage, range) slightly, even while overloaded (overload refreshes your stats every ~5(?) seconds or so).
Guthix rests have no stat drain, despite their lower healing, so eating them alongside solid foods (typically blue blubbers) works out better overall for when you need to keep your stats as high as possible
Solid food usually refers to stuff like rocktails and sharks and etc. Stuff that heals a lot in one bite but drains adren
