You are by far the best on you tube. You make it so simple and it's a shame dealerships are charging outrageous prices for mechanical work. Good vids on the fusion...
AWESOME video !!!!!!!!!! When I got up this morning I didn't think I could do this. But I watched this video... (a couple of times) And then I knocked this out like a pro !!!! Thank you so very much for this video !!!!!!!!!!!! Also liked the music in the back ground
Hey, thanks for the video. My fiancee has an 07 Fusion, V6 SEL. Do I have to take just that cover off, or do I have to leave the whole intake manifold to the side while I work on the spark plugs? Just trying to do this the easiest way, but I obviously want to be safe/smart about it.
Awesome video. Helped alot, specially with intake removal video. So let's say the boot connector broke off (too brittle nothing I could do), how can I secure it so it doesn't come off?
maybe out of topic but...is this model(v6 3.0) worth the money? i mean, are they reliable? smooth or stiff ride? plush seats? ill appreciate any suggestions. im looking for something reliable and good for my sore back. so im considering a 06 3.0lt. mint condition with 60,000miles for $3800. thanks.
How do you know how tight to make the plugs? I don’t want to make them to tight. Also how do you check/adjust the gap? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Showing how to change the plugs is easy, why don't you show the problem metal bracket location that causes delay in removing the plastic intake housing?
I have 2006 Ford fusion and have had 4 different types of diagnoses ..1 in which I replaced and it hasn't stopped the main problem....what should I do
You say spark plug gap is .054 - the Ford manual says .049 Max for 3.0l... why? Also, is it necessary to replace the intake manifold gaskets every time you remove the intake manifold?
Torque them till snug and you will be ok, the gap is more important. Depends on the plug manufacturer. Ford plugs come pretty close to gap spec so you may not even notice it.
+FordTechMakuloco please help so I took off the thing holding down the spark plug I had to pull a little hard to pop it off but does it have to pop back on cause I can't pop it back on ...... I can put it on and screw it down but I don't hear the pop sound and scared it my not be on fully ?

why didn't you show the back 3 plug change?
Because the video for that is in the description jack 👌🏼

After change the plugs, is necessary reset ecu parameters?
Big thanks bud, you do a nice clean job just like I like it.
How many coils are there when doing spark plug replacement on the 2008 Ford Fusion? I'd like to change the coils.
I have a 2006 V4 Mercury Milan, would this be the same process for me?
Awesome video. Helped alot, specially with intake removal video. So let's say the boot connector broke off (too brittle nothing I could do), how can I secure it so it doesn't come off?
If you need to change the boot for the new spark plug , how do you take the boot off? Is this the same engine as the 2006 mercury Milan ?
Hi. Can I use Bosch Iridium Spark Plugs for my Fusion 2010 3.0L V6?
Just need to know how to get the intake manifold off! lol. There's a hidden bolt somewhere...
Leaves off taking off the intake and egr?

Torque wrench
should i change the coils as well ?
Only if they are causing the misfire.
FordTechMakuloco what about the wires are they a routine replacement or do you just changed them if their bad ?
Do you know what the coil pack and cylinder arrangement is. I think I mixed up my plug wires.
You dumb bro😂
Do one at a time
Nice music in the background, love that TobyMac... Oh, and thanks for the video 😉

what plugs and gap would u recommend for a 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ?
These are the plugs you want to use- amzn.to/2hUytx8
Gap them at .051"
+FordTechMakuloco Gap?
Do you recommend changing the coil if doing a spark plug replacement?
Not really unless they're giving you problems just change sparkplugs
You say spark plug gap is .054 - the Ford manual says .049 Max for 3.0l... why? Also, is it necessary to replace the intake manifold gaskets every time you remove the intake manifold?
+m0dul8r what year fusion we talking here? The intake gaskets can be used for 30k before they must be replaced
2012 SEL 3.0l - I picked up a new set anyways - they came with uppers and lowers...
When I removed the first coil from under the intake manifold cover there was oil leaking from the coil. What should I do? What does that mean?
Valve cover and sparkplug gasket
Bank 1 is a real pain in the ass without a garage. I miss mine, tell you that much.
what if the gap nor the torque is dead on
Torque them till snug and you will be ok, the gap is more important. Depends on the plug manufacturer. Ford plugs come pretty close to gap spec so you may not even notice it.
thanx for the video it was a big help espeically trying to figure out what screws to take out and how to take it all apart, thank you so very much.
How do you get to the other 3?
tippie2000 Intake removal link is in the description.
