Does the EU have any plans on how to get ‘media literacy’ treated differently from football team loyalty? Sociology has been so abused by marketing firms for so long that anything less objective than scoring stats can feel like advertising noise…or the whining of loud mouths who are too weak for sports.

The Ad people and marketing people have essentially added to the discrediting of Western Media. This then makes the disaffected open to Russian channels. They’re emotional ads may be memorable and certainly effective in persuading you of the car or TV to buy but when dealing with political issues the emotional manipulation can be seen. I’ll go along with a car add or fashion item but when only emotionally manipulative images are used a large part of the population develop cynicism. They switch off and stop trusting media. We know the neo Liberal media promotes immigration, hides racial conflict in Europe, exaggerates, global warming to panic action and radical COVID shutdowns. The large parts of the population of alienated from Western media and vulnerable to Russian social media manipulation.

How about an example showing Ukraine's disinformation campaign efforts. You know, just to give some credibility and integrity to this presentation.
Because to be frank, living in the EU, I've been subjected to a lot more "western" disinformation than the Russian one.

Give me an example of EU disinformation? What’s the probability of a dictatorship like Russia, having a diversity of opinion? What happens to Putin‘s media opponents? Do you think that’s better than what happens in the EU?

Seems unlikely. I'm fairly sure you have a good idea of what you think is Ukrainian disinformation, much of which will be based on Russian disinformation you didn't recognise.
