Caitlin Clark is going through the same thing that Jackie Robinson went through if you really think about it and it's unfair I'm black so I can say that
There are a good amount of CC fans hiding behind her to spew their racism on the rest of the league. I'm from Louisiana, and as soon as LSU beat Iowa in that championship, they came after the whole team with every derogatory term you could think of.
Is that you Jussie? Clark has had more hate directed toward her than anyone. So much that she has to have a body guard with her at all times, yet you hear nothing about it. Go on any post about her and read the vile comments from blacks, it's a daily occurrence, yet we hear nothing about it. It's the "woke" crowd that publicize this stuff. They're members of two protected classes and have had preferential treatment their entire lives and are accustomed to doing whatever they want without repercussions. When fans or trolls call them out for bullying , it enrages them and they run to the liberal media to hate on whitey and accuse whitey of being a bunch of whitey racists.
If any fans are yelling racial things inside the arena, they should be dealt with accordingly by security and possibly banned from attending future games. With that said, nobody can police the racial trolls online because they're anonymously hiding behind their keyboards. So my recommendation for famous people is to simply not pay any attention to the loser trolls. Block or ignore them--but don't give them the attention they crave because that's what they thrive on. When these WNBA players publicly codemn the trolls it will never make them stop being a-hole trolls . Outside of any physical threats, they should grow thick skin and not get triggered. They should simply go on about their careers and enjoy the success and positive attention their league is receiving.
Nick Wright must be blind to how the players in the league have treated Caitlin Clark. She can see her tormentors. They're willing reading hate tweets from faceless nameless trolls.

I finally figured out the new definition of Woke. The most important thing is last and the least important is first. For example: Character. Personality. Integrity. All take a backseat to Race, Gender, and Sexual Orientation as the most important aspects of a human being. When hiring employees, instead of judging people by their Character, we look at Skin tone, gender, etc. So what happens? You hire too many people with bad Character or terrible Work Ethic or they know nothing about the Job you hired them for because you prioritized Labels over Substance. So, the opposition will say you're Woke.
It's so sad. You probably won't want to hear what annoys me the most, but here it is: News reports will make a huge deal about someone being the first whatever, whatever, and whatever categories that they're put in, to achieve something great. They don't care about the person. It's only about their categories.
SHE ISN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR HER FANS ACTIONS!!! Do they want to get paid or not? They are literally lobbying for fans to be banned. Like they can't handle REAL FAME and the added scrutiny that comes with it. GO PLAY OVERSEAS IF IT'S SO BAD! This isn't THEIR league anymore Check the #'s IT'S CAITLINS!

@@InverselyComplicated-ve3ls1st off I'm not a WNBA fan. I coach and can't stand to watch with all of their bad habits. You know what they did? They laughed all the way to the bank. They didn't say get rid of those mean fans. Why? Those same dumb ass fans were making them rich.
Did Nick Wright comment about the racism from an NBA great and the Black female broadcasters who bashed Caitlin all season? Did they say anything about 17% of the hard fouls being committed against her? What about the cheering from Angel Reese as her teammates pummeled Clark. Oh, that wasn't racism huh, just basketball. Don’t include Reese. It’s all CC. I will give Reese a ton of credit for marketing herself starting with the face wave. She decided to ride CCs coattails until she got to the wnba and the woke media helped her to really establishing her own brand. The big difference is the fans created CCs brand because of her style of play. No other player in the history of the ncaa or wnba had fans create their brand or lack thereof!!!
I don't know man. In soccer it happened and nowadays you get kicked out (in France and UK if I'm not mistaken) when you yell racial slurs at players. Since the WNBA is growing, those "fans" should be punished accordingly because I don't believe real Fever fans and basketball fans are ok with this nonsense
I use to ball and I even jump in the air to duplicate a block ball and my fingers don't fold down towards the face, who does that.. it goes straight up pointing to the sky then come down pointing down to the ground never does your fingers fold...
Okay. Let me get this straight. Clark is not playing on a all white team. Boston, Mitchell, and others are black. They were asked if they seen racism coming from Indiana fans and they practically said no. Next thing what fans do is not Clark's fault. She doesn't promote it. She just shows up and plays basketball. So I guess if a fan jumps on the court and attack a black player that will be Clark's fault? I think not. Next thing is they are just playing the victim now. How about the way they treated Clark when she came into the league. She did nothing to no one and she was being assaulted on the court and talked trash to, called a bitch and a lot of other things, pushed down even when the game was going on. They were talking bad about her all the team. Poking her in eye and gave a black eye. Coaches and former players talking had about her. No one and I mean no one yelled racism. A white girl shows up in a mostly all black sport and gets treated bad. No one yelled racism toward the players treating a white player like they did from day one she was in the wnba. She did nothing but bring more eyes to sport, more money to sport, more everything. And no one appreciated what she did fir the wnba. They all hated on her. I have prof about all the hate she got just for being a white steph curry. Now where is the prof about all the hate the players are getting from Clark fans? All the cameras, cell phones, on TV, other fans and no where is there prof that all Clark fans were being racist. But I have prof that players and coaches were being racist toward Clark. Just watch the games. All they are doing is trying to be the victim when what they did to her was totally wrong. They are trying to shift the blame. Now the last game Clark played in a guy was calling her names, threatening her and they caught it on camara, television, and he was talked to by security. That was filmed. But not one Clark fan was filmed all season long on television doing that to other players?? Something fishy about that. They can catch the one guy doing that against clark but the whole season not one fan was caught doing it to other players? The whole league was being racist against clark and now she is out of the playoffs now they want to shift the blame to Clark and her fans. Pathetic!!!! And no one can tell me the way they were treating Clark wasn't racist. Just think if clark was black and came into the wnba which is more white and got treated like she did all season. It would be talked about all over espn, CNN, all news stations, online, al sharpton would put his nose in it if clark was black going into the wnba and got beat up and talked down to all season and everyone knows it. They need to take the blame for what they did to clark all season long and clark did nothing. But they won't because playing the victim like always.
They have to play in that environment. Do you think they want they want extra scrutiny by pointing out the racism that's present among the Fever fanbase? They'll just play out their contract and go to another team.
Yall must've forgot about the racism director towards Caitlin by black people to begin with.? Go have a seat yall who are making this a bigger deal than necessary.
Actually it was intentional when she poked her in the eye. The problem is, it may not have been talked about as much if it wasn't already. This racial stuff boiling in the pot.
Let me clarify I was using my talk to text feature, Yes I do believe it was intentional. It was hyped even more because of the nonsense that's been happening. Plus the WNBA is loving this behind the scenes because it gets attention for a failing business that lose money every year. That's why I follow no sports. If those women are such great athletes like they claim to be, they will just play the game and let the results speak for themselves. By the way how the hell can you play basketball with nails?
They claim the so-called black woman is the driving force for the WNBA and the so-called white girl is getting all the attention. If you feel that way stop playing for these so-called white ones and start you own league. Until then shut up and play that boring game most people that don't watch anyway, even woman in this country don't support a league that other women play in.
Exactly...dijonay got backlash for cheating game 1 causing cc and injury that blurred cc vision to shoot...it totally handicapped her...yes cc took high road but it was intentional
Yeah, we see it all the time. Dreamerspro recently talked about how Zaza injured Kawai and people were upset. I think the lady was simply upset over the injury... nothing racist about it... Now the other stuff, I dunno lol but that lady in particular, i think was just an angry fan.
She represents a great white hope. We have seen this so many other times in history it’s not surprising. And I’m pretty sure CC has had racial slurs thrown her as well
17:21 The definition of "WOKE" hasn't changed. It's the same as it's always been. But it's been co-opted and bastardized. Also, it's a helluva lot older than most folks think.
The problem with Ms Clark fanz are they are not true WNBA fans they jus like her and don't really give a sh-t about the game outside of CC they are putting her on a pedestal that she hasn't even earned almost close to empty privilege
Are there any true WNBA fans? CC hasn’t earned anything? Broke numerous records as a rookie. She’s better than 90% of the veterans already. The league will continue to be a losing business venture without her. Is that what you mean about empty privilege. It’s ok to hate her because she’s white though…right.
If her name was Laquisha Clark and she was gay and the skill set was identical, I can assure you she wouldn't get half the following and ratings that she gets now.
All i know is if they are shunning the proverbial bag due to their own biases players n fans alike i dont wanna hear them whine abt it anymore.. Ive said this all the time the wnba may have great players ill take their word for it as i have no interest in it but all of them n i mean all of them have the a combine charisma level of a potato.. That is is until this clark girl came along who from the looks of it is able to draw crowds effortlessly.. Now people can say its because she is white n that might be true but correct me if im wrong haven there been white players all along so why couldnt they even draw a fly to save their league? Somethings got to give here but only thing i care abt is not having the players n their fans whine abt salary gaps anymote because it is the most stupidest argument ever conceived
After watching your segment, my question is, since when are long nails, a staple of the black community? I see plenty of white women using them all the time.
I am a Caitlin Clark fan. But the people who hate on her are either so emotional that they fail to articulate in a clear manner why! Or they simply avoid saying what is causing their frustrations by being passive aggressive! The issue is that Caitlin Clark is a great player, but she is not the best ever. And if she wasn’t an all American white girl, there would be no surge in ratings! Without a great white player to market (who is not gay, not ugly, not dating black men, etc), no one really cares about them! So while people are on TV are saying Yall should be happy people watching and you will get your bag, it’s a reminder that you aren’t nothing unless white people approve! Aja Wilson is phenomenal, but because she’s not white, she is not worth watching r celebrating! It’s not easy for some to accept this reality still exists in America!
its ironic to complain about calling something woke being censorship whilst the 'those being called woke are collectively labelling all Clark supporters racist and that the league needs to take action i.e censor.
There's several dynamics swirling around every Caitlin Clark topic. White people are enthusiastic about Caitlin Clark the same way Asian people were enthusiastic about Jeremy LIn. And there are types of black folks that are enthusiastic about Angel Reese for certain specific reasons the same way those same types were enthusiastic about how Sha'Carri Richardson used to be, how Megan the Stallion is, and how Sexy Redd and all the other self proclaimed "baddies" that they made a reality tv about that black women love. And along with that comes the exaggerated reactions full of emotions and not much logic whenever something is said that is critique or praise that people will have in every situation where there's any small piece of self identity projected into it. Plus you have the natural tendency of females to leverage any critique about them, whether valid or not, is somehow far worse than any critique that males get for the same reasons, as a way to avoid any critique at all. Any real racially motivated comments, insults out there, yes it's wrong and it shouldn't happen, but welcome to what black male athletes have been going through since organized sports began. But they are coming at the subject of any racially motivated comments with black WNBA players as if it's a sudden occurrence and it's unprecedented. Now that's just the legitimate stuff. There's another dynamic in the mix of people are claiming that the fouls Caitlin Clark is getting and that are not being called is due to race. You have a white run league, all the owners of the teams are probably majority white, head coaches mostly white, but a league that is mostly controlled by white people is being racist to it's brightest star player that is white? Can it go both ways like that? And this thing about the nails. You can find countless videos of black men pointing out how undesirable the penchant for super long nails and the super long fake eyelashes are that a large number of black women wear. Is that supposed to be something that nobody can make fun of? My last thought is how people compare Caitlin to Larry Bird. As far as the fan base getting enthused about her, yes that's correct. She is comparable to Larry Bird. But she's also comparable to the aforementioned Jeremy Lin. But as far as what can be said about Caitlin not getting fouls called for her that should be, she's not like Larry Bird. Larry Bird was heavily protected until he came into his own, as anybody who has an inkling about how it was to play in Boston back then knows. What I think is going on is Caitlin Clark is getting is the Michael Jordan treatment. The league doesn't want one player to be bigger than the league. So through the use of how refs call games, they don't want a team that's been habitually bad to be able draft one player and instantly become a real threat to any team that is known to be a complete team.
It’s her supporters, mainly the white ones. Not all of them but vast majority of them. It really all started with Angel taunting her. It triggered them.
Contact sports through out the world, Rugby Soccer etc have banned long nails, rings on fingers, necklaces etc for the safety of the players. Speaking from experience getting someone’s medallion in your face and eye is not nice to say the least.
I call BS on Thomas. When she performed her inverted DDT to Angel Resse. Was it Fever fans going after her? Nope. Those were Chicago Sky fans. I believe the players are receiving an increase of racial slurs, misogyny because they've missing open layups or dropping passes or missing baskets from 3 feet, homophobic slurs as well. Unfortunately that comes with popularity and visibility. Imagine NBA or NFL players taking the podium and complaining or printing trolls posts. Easy fix, turn off your social media. CC or her team has never taken the podium or reported to media about the racial attacks that she receives. Do you think her privilege protects her. We have Aja Wilson wondering why she's no marketable. Shes caught on camera lecturing her teammates that white players use their priviledge to be better balls and aometimes its their skills. Thats the face of the league? Miss me with that. I give credit to the Chicago Sky...to a degree. I recommend watching their exit interviews. The players cried about racism. But a few player's mentioned staying off of social media. Improving their game. And the best that they received racist comments from black and white W fans and even their own Sky fans. These ladies ain't ready for big time. I feel sorry for Juju when she enters the league. Maybe she'll be treated better because she's lightskin.

Personally I'm tired of everyone calling everyone else racist. Yes racism plays a part in our lives and unfortunately probably always will, but that does not make it right for individuals to use it as an excuse to disagree with each other and definitely shouldn't be used as an insult to hurl at someone simply because you don't like someone's opinion in an attempt to effectively make that person's opinion non valid. The way you say the word "woke" is being diluted the same thing is happening with the word racist to the point that it's losing it's impact. Used to be a racist was a horrible person now it's anyone who's opinion you don't like.

There are a good amount of CC fans hiding behind her to spew their racism on the rest of the league. I'm from Louisiana, and as soon as LSU beat Iowa in that championship, they came after the whole team with every derogatory term you could think of.
There no bigger racist from black people we watch that in NBA now in WNBA
WRONG. Those are Black fans posing as White Fever Fans

You probably won't want to hear what annoys me the most, but here it is:

Have they really been professional
The wnba was not ready for all this attention
I think it’s straight bias
It’s all BS.
Im black... im sorry what does long nails have to do with being black?

When you are raised to not be offended by everything, nothing bothers you, these talking points are right on time for the ELECTION
Nick wrong is an troll..CC fans are not racist...
its ironic to complain about calling something woke being censorship whilst the 'those being called woke are collectively labelling all Clark supporters racist and that the league needs to take action i.e censor.
Clark should go play in Europe and let the wnba go back to the sinking ship it was previously
It’s not even fans. It’s racist people who get joy out of jumping in on any potential to express it because society largely rejects it.

Let thos racist get them Thats perfect karma for the treatment of CC all season Eye for an eye Literally😂 no joke
