  • Inspired by Scream at SFMM.
    This coaster was something I threw together rather quickly compared to a few of my other coasters, but I'm rather surpired how happy I am with it since there's not really much i messed up on.
    The only thing I would probably go back a change if I could would be the second corkscrew, just cause it feels off, even though it looks fine.
    I also managed to find a way to do proper B&M loop supports, thank to Coasterkidmwm on CoasterCrazy
    Stats:
    -Length: 1291m / 4235ft
    -Height: 45m / 147ft
    -Speed: 103kmh / 64mph
    -Drop: 44m / 144ft
    -Inversion: 7
    --Cobra Roll
    --Vertical Loop
    --Dive Loop
    --Zero-G Roll
    --Interlocking Corkscrews

    Although not my favorite, this is probably one of the most realistic NL2 custom creations I've ever seen. The setting, the coaster, and the pacing is all perfect for a B&M of the late 90s and early 2000s. Keep it up!

    It's a great ride! Well paced, a nice selection of inversions, and technically flawless. I'll agree with what you said on Facebook - Moray is not exactly 'awe-inspiring.' Then again, neither is 'Scream!' in my opinion.

    Your videos are always set up perfectly. Also, the quality of your videos are amazing. They really show that you spend time on making these coasters, and they seem like coasters designing companies would produce. The elements of the coaster make it seem so real, I feel like I'm riding it!:) keep up the good work.

    Funny how I said scream before, cause this time around it was kind of giving me Kumba vibes 🤔 Agree with you on that second corkscrew though, it does look a little funky SuperVinlin

    This is definitely a bolliger & mabillard floorless coaster that should be produced for real!!

    With No Limits, it’s like the smoothness of every coaster on there is like the real thing.

    If Canada's Wonderland removed Time Warp or Flight Deck, I wouldn't mind seeing a floorless coaster as a replacement. TW and FD are VERY painful rides in my honest opinion.

      @switchmintty8772 5 лет назад

      Brandon Clark true, Theme Park Crazy said Zamperla Volares like Time Warp are EXTREMELY unstable and rough and the Vekoma SLC like Flight Deck is painful as hell.

    I'd like to see just one looping B&M that doesn't have interlocking corkscrews. Back to back is much better!

  • @alaeriia01

    I agree. The second corkscrew feels off. I know why, too; you went from a clockwise turn into a clockwise flatspin. Beemers typically go clockwise flatspin, anticlockwise turn, clockwise flatspin (or vice versa.) It's not the corkscrew that's the problem; it's the transition between the two corkscrews. Hope this helps!

    • @Projektion2
      @Projektion2  8 лет назад

      +Alex Snitzer Not quite, my Interlocking corkscrews were modelled after the ones on Dragon Khan. and, apart for the slightly stretched out transition into the second corkscrew, I feel the turnaround worked pretty well:
      ruclips.net/video/4nxPVNM-Leg/видео.htmlm50s
      What I meant was more that there's something now quite right about the transition on the second corkscrew. Like for a moment at the very top, the track isn't rotating around the heartline. It's hard to explain, and i only started to notice it towards the end of completing the ride as I was riding it through checking clearance.

    • @alaeriia01
      @alaeriia01 8 лет назад +1

      +Projektion I see it. It's lacking the B&M "snap" that they usually have. The second cork is a little more drawn-out than the first, and the bit at the apex is a smooth flow, rather than the snap at the top. It almost feels like an Arrow corkscrew at that point (in terms of constant curvature, not roughness!).

    Waw, that looked great ! Did you use any post-prod color correction or is it all done in NL2 ?

    • @Projektion2
      @Projektion2  8 лет назад

      +omegaPe Sort of, I don't do any color correction myself, but my video editor seems to have some sort of built in contrast change that I can't turn off when I export my videos.

    "Scream Rearranged and dipped in wine", I liked it though. My only complaint is about the POV, why do ppl use nose-cam? You couldn't ever ride there, and it kind of defeats the purpose of the high heartline. It doesn't make any sense. :o

    • @Projektion2
      @Projektion2  8 лет назад

      +0MindSwept0 With the low cam, I usually try to place the pov in the position where you'd expect a mounted camera to be placed, which would typically on the "nose" of the floorless trains

    • @TS_Mind_Swept
      @TS_Mind_Swept 8 лет назад

      Projektion well other then for possible stability purposes why do ppl even do it irl? ...ya know, i think i just figured it out, still though, i don't like it, even in real life recordings. Not trying to hate on you, I'm just saying. :x

      Would you mind making a tutorial of you making a terrain coaster showing all the steps from making the terrain to getting the coaster there?

    • @Projektion2
      @Projektion2  8 лет назад

      If I'm honest, there's not really much I could do. With the Terrain, I generally make the coaster and place it first, then do the terrain around it. You don't see any water on the lower bits of land because the terrain is raised up quite a bit more than the in game water level.

    • @RollerCoastersAndMore
      @RollerCoastersAndMore 8 лет назад

      Projektion How do you make that land higher up above water level?

    • @inn0version727
      @inn0version727 8 лет назад +1

      Roller Coasters And More Use the set terrain height button in the terrain tab

    • @preferredduck1
      @preferredduck1 7 лет назад +1

      Roller Coasters And More go to the terrain tab; I believe it's the second button down, you can raise it up 30 to 40 feet so no water shows up. I do like he does, I build a coaster and fit terrain around it. I just uploaded a wanna be mind bender, of course I post mine up for my daughter and nephew so once I decorate near the coaster I am done. I need me ram for 2 decent coasters, my hyper and gravity groups in one park lagged my computer with 16gb of ram. Smh. Once I learn some 3d modeling and importing buildings I may do more detail, but that crap gets confusing for me. Hahaha

      +Josh Hubbard I use the Fly-By view, then place the view more or less where I'd expect a mounted camera to be placed ona real coaster

    Hi, how do you get the drive tires right before the lift hill? They are different to standard drive tyres in NL2 and I have always wondered how you get them, as I have noticed them before on your hyper/gigs coasters

    • @Projektion2
      @Projektion2  8 лет назад

      +SmilerAdvocate These are the tires that show up when you set a lift section to friction wheels. The transport section tires look better and are closer to what B&M would use, but you can't really get them as close together as the lift friction wheels.
