I love seeing Davis adapting and smiling.. taking shifts. That's the best thing for him giving him purpose. I bet your just loving watch him learning to sail and watching him loving to sail.. another great video. Thank you for sharing!
Parents used to live on Cayman, with a house on Governor's Creek. Great little island to be on, except when the cruise ships are in town. Always used to stay clear of Georgetown, seven mile beach and Stingray city when they were docked. Hope you had a great time.
Okay, Davis is adorable!! I love his play by play. Talking about being on the ocean, and how he did not know he would be there at 7 yrs old...LOL great episode.
I love how he is starting to love this life and showing others our journey. He’s really a great kid and I don’t think he’s really shown his true personality yet😊
Hey Davis and Family!! I miss coming over and having fun together, davis looks like he is having a blast. I wish I was there with you guys! Have fun and I will keep checking the channel. I also love the weblos hat!
Hi!! Davis is finally settling into boat life although he still wishes he was with you & his other friends in middle school. He loves gaming with you as it makes him feel like his friends are close. Thanks for watching! We miss you too!!😊
Davis says Thank you! We love seeing his true personality start to show in videos instead of him being a bratty kid which he can be but has so much more!
Wow the Parasailor … I hate to say… told you so.. great that you could save it.. tbh I have seen this time after time. Often they collapse and then get completely torn in pieces to the extent that repairs are impossible. Love the colours btw it’s what we’ve planned as boat paint colours. It similar to the sunset colours. We follow your journey and it’s clearly so much more relaxed than at the start. You’re doing great ! Happy birthday Davis it’s awesome to see you drive the boat like it’s nothing special.
We had planned to install a turning block but Just Cats told us it was overkill and unneeded but clearly there was a reason every other 45 w/a Parasail uses it. She was flying great at a good angle in 10knots when it happened so… Very fortunate she only had 12 smallish rips that have already been professionally repaired. We now have a Halyard Lead that is going to get installed to hopefully prevent this from happening again. Thanks for following along😊
Nice to see that Davis has found his voice. Also, after 58 years of marriage, I have learned that correcting my wife, even on trivial matters, is a no-win tactic. My sense is that women think differently and I have to live with it.
Happy Birthday Davis! Glad the crew was able to quickly work together to get the sail back aboard. That is such a great feeling as the team comes together! The real unanswered question was did the grocery store have Diet Coke?
Davis says thank you! It was a stressful situation that Rob handled and guided his crew well. We should have stocked up with Diet Coke in Grand Cayman bc they did and Panama does not! Down to 7 cans!
Happy Birthday Davis. I am hoping you enjoyed the Caymans. As a diver, I absolutely love it there. it there. They have so many dive sites there you could go diving every day and not repeat. Sorry to hear about the parasail.
We loved the Caymans and regret to having more time to take out all our dive gear for a couple of dives. All the dive sites looked amazing. Definitely a lot to do there! Davis says thank you & the Paradailor have already been repaired 😊
How long will it take to you to get to Panama? Are you going to repair the sails? Tape? Patch? I'm worried for y'all not having all sails.. ok so I wrote as u said 5 to 7 days..
Don't worry - we made it safely to Panama in 6 days. The sail has now been repaired and we are getting it ready. We do carry sail repair tape however, that is for the heavier dacron sails - main and genoa. Since this was a brand new expensive sail Rob just wanted a sail loft to repair correctly.
The sail is so big, that we needed to get it to a large space to lay it out and get an idea of what damage we incurred and what the fix would be. Next place with a sail loft is Panama.
@@CaptNOLARob i didn’t realize you weren’t hanging around Cayman very long. Such great diving there. Hate the sail took damage. Was it the water or catching on the boat as you pulled it up?
Combination of being rubbed against the hull and the fishing lines getting into the sail. When the sail fell, it brought the boat to a stop then drifting sideways while turning which brought the sail and fishing lines to the starboard side of the boat. Yes we would have loved to stay longer, but the canal transit was already booked.
@@SailingParadiseFalls didn’t you guys fix another chafing issue in Bahamas? Was it the same one or different? Really trying to learn as much as possible. You guys are really selling me on these Leopards. That forwards salon door seems like a huge selling point, but you guys seem to be having huge chafing and i thought you showed you replaced all running rigging. I really love your channel, you guys are so awesome. Davis cracks my girls up.
In the Abacos we had a d shackle that busted. This was our first chafe issue, hopefully, bc we try to stay on top of it. Happens more on long passages. We still love our leopard even going on other boats out here. The breeze from the front door is a game changer for ventilation for sure! It’s a great boat for a family. Davis said to tell your girls 👋 😊
Yes we agree and he is learning. Thankfully he doesn't film all the time 😅! We are grateful for his wanting to participate though! Thanks for following our journey!!

He is starting to get more involved on his own will not us making him which is nice :)
I love it that davis is getting into it more. Awesomeness
We all love that Davis is embracing this adventure!!
This is the life❤❤😊😊😊thank you guys for coming to JAMAICA and highlighted our little ISLAND 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲enjoy CAYMAN 🇰🇾 Island
We had a great time with such great people!
What a great place! And what a find that grocery store must have been! An amazing way to spend your birthday!
It was an AMAZING grocery store! Crazy to think we’d get so excited over little things like that. He had a great day swimming with the stingrays!
Captain Davis is awesome!!
He says, "Thank you very much!!". We think he is a pretty great kid :)
I’m so glad that you all enjoyed my home safe travels and welcome back anytime
Thank you! Will do!

Our thoughts exactly! Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time there!

Happy Birthday Davis! Really enjoyed Davis's thought on being out to see and his narration of events. You all are turning into quite the "sea salts"

You were in my neck of the woods. You might have even passed our Leopard PC on one of those canals off Governors Sound
It’s a beautiful place!! We did see a Leopard PC😊

Yall missed out. Bayhopping across N shore to Negril would have been 7 videos in itself.
Would have loved too but we only stopped to wait for better weather😊
Love your theme song btw!!! I'd love to purchase it and put it on my playlist.
It is on musicbed by Tim Halperin - Where the adventure begins. We love it too!
Wow….Starbucks, Burger King and the mall in the Caymen Islands. Why did you guys even get on a boat?!🤣
When your used to that and have an 11yr boy on board and you see it after being in more isolated areas for the past four months - it’s a big deal😊
Happy birthday davis🎉🥳

How bad/big are the rips? Can you not patch them temporarily with your sailrite or sail patch?
