Sango: The Legendary African King is a Latest Classic Nollywood Yoruba full Movie 2019 New Release This Week, written by Wale Ogunyemi, produced and directed by Obafemi Lasode. The film depicts the life and reign of the legendary fifteenth century African king Sango, who ruled as the Alaafin of Oyo and became an important deity of the Yoruba people.

No one can withstand my anger and I am completely fearless.
I can destroy myself in anger. So, I don’t mind who get hurt.
I am also very gentle and loving like an angel.
But I know my wrath will eventually destroy any good thing I do.
This girl kinda tame me. And we are just connected in some unexplainable ways.
I am also from Oyo, a descendant of the warriors that fought to build the Oyo empire.

My parent never allow me watch this movie back then as I was preparing for an exam can't remember which one. I wish I have this kind of fire power
It's been ages that Yorubas have been warring against each other. We can see that even in our political power in Nigeria. If we go our separate way to form Oduduwa, I pray we won't see betrayals among us. Yorubas fight each other a lot. Owu vs Alaafin, Ijebu vs Akure. Enough of this crazy fight among us.
The more reason, Yoruba nation can not stand. I don't see any leader emerging from among the Yoruba speaking towns and cities.

This film was shown in Ilaro poly in 1998 but then as a student and and exco of C&S student church, I did not go to watch it because I thought it will be too fetish . Unknown to me, the cast, Alafin Ajaka, by name, Jide Ogungbade, who is a C&S member was in the play. I regretted not watching it that year
I had to wait for another 23yrs before I could watch this great film.
