Nostalgic! My Paternal Grandmother bought me and my siblings VHS version of this movie- Big Blessings to all the actors and actresses and to Baba Lere Paimo-A one of a kind actor! He is a Hall of Famer!
I watched this movie 🎥 in 2002 to 2003 .. and I’m still here in 2024… I left Nigeria 🇳🇬 ever since but I never forget my root … I’m always proud of being a Yoruba boy living in another man’s land 🫶
I could remember when my brother will put me on his soulder watching this movie true the sinior sinior man when the room as full up and stuffy, . Iya rainbow gbadebo mother, . Sohun ogunlola . No one is talking about how much energy baba lalude put into this very interesting movie, lalude oosa, more wisdom and knowledge, long live baba lare paimo
What I like the most about this movie is the immense ability of our people and ancestors to corroborate under a free and fair leadership of the king and the Oyo-Mesi, the chiefs, in combating evil and fostering peace for our people and generations yet unborn. We are a people with heritage. The ability to follow lead and act valiantly in serving the people is still one distinguishing trait among Yoruba compared to other ethnicities in the country and continent. This is a masterpiece, a classic movie like no other.

I was truly captivated by its portrayal of Yoruba culture in this movie. This film beautifully showcased the richness of traditions through the use of proverbs, emphasizing values like respect for elders, loyalty, patience, and endurance. The attention to detail in depicting the dressing was particularly striking for me. It was both educative and deeply engaging, leaving me with a greater appreciation for the depth and diversity of Yoruba culture. Highly recommended for anyone interested in exploring the beauty of Yoruba heritage!"
This movie reminds me of Daddy Tunde, how we used to gathered in his room to watch these epic movie then, such a nice man, treated everyone as if we are his own children.
