- What happened during the Industrial Revolution? It was certainly a time period filled with new inventions and innovations, but it was also an era filled with new hardships and challenges. This video will introduce you to the events of the First Industrial Revolution in England and the Second Industrial Revolution in the United States. You'll learn about some major advancements in agriculture, technology and communication along with the negative consequences of the rapid change, including dangerous working conditions in factories, the rise of enslaved labor in the United States and more.

It affected every industry, including textiles and iron, and created many more.
It was very interesting because it explains the transition of the old machines to the new ones, and the video explains very good the subject.

The first Industrial Revolution was due to only one invention, James Watt's invention of the world's first PRACTICAL High Pressure Steam Engine, in Scotland.
It was a Power Revolution.
The first and most World Changing Revolution.
James Watt dumped Newcomen's Atmospheric Power and Arkwright's Water-Power for High Pressure Steam Power.
For the first time in human history we had something better than the 2000 years old Water-wheel.

They used their new technical skills to build trains all across India, Africa, down through Egypt, built trains in Europe, thats really NOT keeping it secret.

Britain from 1800 to 1900.
20,000 Waterwheels decreased in number.
Windmills decreased in number.
Englishman Thomas Newcomen's 1,500 Atmospheric Pumps disappeared.
Scotsman James Watt's 500 Steam Engines increased in number to 10,000,000 !!!
For every SINGLE Waterwheel in 1800 we now had 500 Steam Engines in 1900.
And you don't need a flowing river of water for each one either, so they could be sited anywhere!
That's an increase in Power Production for the whole country of 500 times !!! In one human lifetime!
This WAS the Industrial Revolution.
It was a Power Revolution, and it was all due to only one Invention. James Watt's Invention of the world's first PRACTICAL Steam Powered Engine in Scotland.
Now we could have a million more Factories for a start, then Steamships, Locomotives and whatever else you needed an engine for.
Take away James Watt's Steam Power and you don't get an Industrial Revolution.

Well in terms of labour, it has made things a lot more easier and faster. However, due to the massive production of carbon dioxide, it has lead to things like the huge crisis global warming. So it has its pros and cons!

How do I show that it is integrated by increasing the production of food faster, which in turn led to an increase in population density, and thus created a huge number of workers for factories. It was exported to the USA on “purpose” and the USA industrialized faster then Europe. All of Eastern Europe and southern Europe had barely industrialized when the USA had become the supreme industrial power
