I believe what you really did was take the vacuum reservoir out of the system. Doesn’t the ac go to defrost when you you accelerate?
Occasionally. The 5.4 Triton makes so much vacuum that a reservoir is rarely needed. And the reservoir can't help when you climb long steep hills when you should have the AC off anyway :)
What was the problem the vacuum reservoir
It was a broken line in the dash or the vacuum reservoir so I bypassed them. I started with testing the rear actuator first, but that was fine.
@@petertrast it’s normally the reservoir it’s so much easier just to bypass it
You're the man, amazing video
very detailed thank you
Can I just block off the floor blower? I have cold air from the roof but not the floor.
I have super cold air everywhere but the floor in the back. Hot air blows from the floor in the back.
No, because the hot and cold air will cancel out
How much vacuum did you have going to the actuators after the repair? Before?
About 3.5 (in the video) before, and between 10 and 12 after I believe.
Thank you, you'll give me idea how fix rear ac thanks
Glad I could help!!
