Whoa definitely a cool JDM time capsule, since is pretty hard to find stock ones in such relatively good shape i would keep this one as it is just inside-out many of the parts and features it has are discontinued, so yeah fresh rubber, belts gaskets some new spark-plugs and fresh fluids (oil, brake oil, coolant) it is a very cool vehicle to any cars & coffee ..
Nice to see a 240SX that hasn't suffered through a few generations of teenage ownership - definitely a unicorn. Love to find a clean, stock Eclipse from that 95-99 era.
First car was a 1990 240sx spec'd the exact same just all Black. I loved that car. I left it at home when I went off to college and my Dad sold it because my parents were moving. Still miss that car.
At 11:56 Hahahahaha!!! Classic clip for a future "montage" video!!! Oh man..... us men.... the littlest things like that will be funny until the day we die!!! 🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼
My 89 T-Bird had seat belts like that. There was no need to unbuckle the one from the door jamb. When the door opened it wasn't in the way to get in and out. The only thing you had to do was buckle the lap belt after you got in. That was part of the problem. People neglected to wear the lap belt and if they did get in an accident they would slide under the dash instead of being held in place.
The word "cob" historically referred to a spider, derived from the Old English "cobba." Cobwebs are typically associated with the webs spun by spiders, particularly those that are abandoned or old. The term has evolved to describe any tangled, dusty web-like structure, not just those made by spiders. Cobwebs often appear in corners and undisturbed areas, contributing to their association with neglect.
I’ve never seen you pull door panels and other panels and clean behind them. Knowing that mice can get behind them, I would think it would be a good idea when detailing a car that has been infested with rodents it would be a good idea to strip off all panels and thoroughly clean behind them also. Just say’n.
Nice work! Those 240 SX Nissan were cool cars ! I had a buddy that had one and it was a a fast car for a stock car! Don’t care for any of those jdm cars, they have never impressed me but looks like the younger generation is crazy about them for some reason!
The reason they had those seatbelts was to comply with federal regulations. By 1983 all US sold cars either had to have a driver side air bag, or automatic seat belts. And for many automakers, it was cheaper to add the automatic seat belts to the cars. Some were motorized, like this 240sx, but most were passive, and mounted to the door itself (especially the domestic automakers like GM, Chrysler, Ford). This occurred all the way to 1995, When driver side airbags became required on all vehicles.
What a sweet find. I've always wanted an NSX. Nissan just made some killer cars. Btw, I was order #132 I believe. Gonna enjoy making my Blazer RS wheels and tires shine this summer 😎
Good product promotion, placement, explanation: list it on the bottom of the screen, what it is, what it does, as you’re applying it. Just a suggestion! Love what you do!
My first car was '91 Nissan 200SX S13 - same car, but with the 1.8 turbo engine (Europe spec). Wonderful car, handling is fantastic, but engine was unreliable. Great memories though!
Many many hearty congratulations on the new home brother, it's so beautiful warm cozy and lovely. God bless you and your family. Gashole???? Seriously 🫣🫣🤔🤔😮😮

It's funny to see Mike happily nerding out on the 240's tailend and taillights.

Do you guys have any plans for a video to show how you cleanup the floors of the studio from all the mess that drops off the cars?
Congratulations on the new house, RJ ! 👍

So you'll know the difference, spiderwebs are where the spider lives, cobwebs are where the spider used to live.

Congrats on your new house. Great job on this car it was pretty dirty. Thanks guys!
guys, do you do worldwide shipping for your product?
My sister had a red one and it was a fun car but totally useless in the snow. She didnt have that upper belt though.
What a nice Car ❤ same vibe of Mazda 323
They did the "attack belts" only about two years, then airbags became standard. It was all due to government regulations for passive restraints.
Y'all got it backwards. People only used the automatic shoulder belt and never used the lap belt.

That noise sounds like the timing chain guide. Common problem on those KA24 engines.
What a transformation.🦊
I have a question. The spray you use for the carpets in the car could you use the same spray on carpet in your home?

Huh? I remember several late 80s vehicles having neither airbags or automatic seatbelts.
Wow.. I'm a jdm fan and this car came out amazing ! It's basically a unicorn.

is the 240 for sale? This was my first car although i didnt have a sun roof.
If you ever have the chance to do a 70s era Datsun 240, I'd love to see that. Those early Datsuns are prized by true sport car fans.
Só faltou limpar as caixas de roda
Great job guys bringing this one back to life visually. 👍👍
Jimmy oakes is sprinting with his wallet right now

I had both the 200SX and 300ZX around 30 years ago, were my favourite cars in early 20’s. Might have missed it, but how many miles are on this gem?
These cars sat around on the lot unwanted I remember we had one for a year :( I always kinda liked them

Few things worse in life than a dirty gas hole. 🤣
Its never been apparent to me how someone lets such a nice car like this sit and never be used.
I’m always amazed at how people can just let a car sit and turn into a rodent condo. Great job on this one guys, it looks awesome!
Gas-hole?!?!? 😂😂
Make sure you always clean your dirty gas hole 😂
@@WDDetailingI will forever call it a gas hole and nothing else from today forward hahahaha😅
