it does feel like there's a pattern to this game however
I was watching a livestream once where one of the viewers was a close friend of one of this game's developers. Essentially, the game is all about timing; you have to time your shots with the animations, and you have to use the correct shots (left, right, or center). At first, the game was pretty lenient with its timing, but the lead developer felt the game was too easy, and kept narrowing the timing, until pretty much every single shot required you to be frame-perfect.
The genuine "NO!" coming from Danny when the frog eats his ball is amazing

Lol, that's because it was originally intended to be more than just a console. But when Philips realized that the games were the only things even slightly selling, it became the world's shittiest console instead.
It was much closer to $1000 when released which equates to approximately $2000 today. Imagine a console costing $2k today.
This will always be a perfect one to revisit over the years
