    David Janowski has a variation of the old Indian named after him so like Reti, he too contributed to chess theory. But it is way cooler to invent your own opening. That is something quite rare but IM Danny Kopec developed a new opening line (ECO B20) sometime in the 80's. Yet no top players use it.
