2:27 Somebody was having a bad day, was losing some plastic worms. That’s awesome! That one guy who’s fishing trip was ruined because they lost their only lures: yes… awesome😑
For those who are saying that he planted them because the camera angles at which he finds them, it’s easy to see that he finds them and puts the camera down. Hence the calmer reaction.
Interesting video. All those “lost” crankbaits and spinners is why I fish almost exclusively plastic! But, I’d love to use cranks, spinners, jerkbaits - just need to find the right water or hit the Lotto! Enjoy your content. Looks like you have fun.
Me too, I just can't stand loosing a new or treasured crankbait on the first few casts, it's like getting punched in the gut real hard. Loosing plastics I don't mind at all.
Brendan, I love doing this, I also use a telescoping golf ball retriever with a sock and some wire tied around it. Snag tons of stuff from trees just out of reach. Lots of them are old and vintage that have been up there for years. Got a Heddon One Knocker, hollow frog and DT6 crankbait today.
I love lure hunting now that I have a kayak. People bank fish at the reservoir down the street and I just go around with my kayak and use the ozark trail paddle I bought (that had convenient cut outs in the blade) to yank stuff out of trees.
I found a brand new Berkley Bad Shad dangling from a tree branch hanging way out over the water along a shoreline I was fishing in my kayak. Someone fishing from the bank must have had a bad cast and got it all tangled in that branch.
So a couple months ago, I was fishing at a local pond and saw a giant eye of a hook. So I pull it up and it’s like a 6 inch long treble hook. I later did some research and found out that it was a snag hook meant to snag baitfish for saltwater fishing. The closest body of saltwater is like 1 1/2 hours away!🤣
That chartreuse and blue crankbait is a manns crankbait i believe. If not usable very cool to collect and make shadow boxes out of. Can't wait for them to lower our lake because I know where I've lost 6 baits this year lol
Going by your inspiration, I checked the trees around this popular fishing spot in my area and sure enough, found a medium large black/white spoon and a medium small red/white spoon. (There was a white grub jig in a low branch too but I couldn’t reach it without getting wet. 😅) and it’s all fair, I lost a fire-tiger spoon and a fire stripe swimmer bait at that same place and someone else found them. Give and take. 😊
I do this when the river gets low and I have had some great finds and it’s nice to clean up all the garbage and fishing line left from snagged lures! Great video!
That one you couldn't identify, looks like a Mann's 1- (minus) I remember seeing about 10 years ago they had deeper running cranks with a little longer bill. Not sure if they still make those or not since the shallow runners are what most people go for.
I wish the water in my lakes would drop a little so i could do this. I can think of 1 nice tree lay down that has at least 4 of my lures stuck in it so I wonder who else lost stuff there.
As a lure maker I wish there was a lake near me that drained every year, free spinner blades, clevises, treble hooks, split rings and more
Painting them is really the trick. Can find beat up ones that are 20 years old. Paint and reclear and they are literally brand spanking new

2:26 someone was having a bad day and that’s awesome 😂😂
OMG I NOTICE IT TOO LOLL
For those who are saying that he planted them because the camera angles at which he finds them, it’s easy to see that he finds them and puts the camera down. Hence the calmer reaction.
I find so much pleasure in finding someone else's lures. It's almost better than buying them.
Hell yeah!!!
You should start a new series where you do restorations on all the damage crank baits that you found and test them out afterwards.
Nice idea hope he sees it 😁
Same
“Somebody was having a bad day and was losing plastic worms.” “ that’s awesome!”🤣 Love it! Huge fan keep up the good work!

Cleaning up the water while getting some awesome finds is a win-win
2:44 no way, he actually said a PAIR OF scissors instead of "a scissors"

finding lures is always great, especially on days when you lose a few yourself!!!
I really like finding a nice lure or two while walking back after a stinken skunk fishing day.
The king has returned with the best videos possible
So somebody was having a bad day, they were losing some plastic worms, that's awesome. -Brendan Miller

HEYYYY BRENDAN I LOVE THESE, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A LURE HUNTING VIDEOOOOOOOOOOO
I found a brand new Berkley Bad Shad dangling from a tree branch hanging way out over the water along a shoreline I was fishing in my kayak. Someone fishing from the bank must have had a bad cast and got it all tangled in that branch.

This is the video I look forward to the over the year
I hope I’m not the only one who used to watch this guy vid and this video specifically and that what got me into Fishing!
Best part about finding lures, all you need is a lake with many trees and rocks
Good stuff man - Now make a fishing video with all your found lures - explaining how to use different types
Now that I see all of the lures you find I have been thinking about carving a return notice on all of my lures

What i like about this is that it shows what baits are heavily used.. maybe we should try other baits less common ones and catch more fish
Yup, I usually stand around looking into the trees and brush for lures. About half of my hardbody lures are finds.
When the pond is not drained, those lures catch a fish. When the pond is drained, those lures catch a fisherman.
The life cycle of a fishing lure.
Love these videos. Clicked on the video when it was 17 seconds old.
That blue and yellow crank bait is a Ric Clunn. I have 2 from Ollie's discount store.
#3:11 LOL what word was that🤣😂🤣
My backyard lake is still deep but it’s kinda getting a little shallow, but not too
I was once at the local lake on the dock got a whole bunch of lures put them on a spinner bait and snagged a whole bunch of lures
First yes love the vids hope yall t staying safe though the holiday and merry Christmas
The handlebar mustache coming in shoootttt, stylin, love the video and channel!!
9:04 thats a manns squarebill, similar to the manns baby minus 1. They also make the manns jelly worms.
That chartreuse and blue crankbait is a manns crankbait i believe. If not usable very cool to collect and make shadow boxes out of. Can't wait for them to lower our lake because I know where I've lost 6 baits this year lol
That little stickbait you couldn’t find a brand on was the brand Matzuno, they are mainly sold in Theisans stores
Lucky you finding all of that stuff! I'm always looking for stuff too.
I think you say "nevertheless" more than any human being to have ever existed. Nevertheless, good video.
Ate you challenging him to a dual
nah my 8th grade teacher says it more
Nah in the south it's commonplace
Ha
I am envious of your treble hook snatching abilities - I would've been at the hospital after 2 crankbaits XD
Racked up man!...Keep em coming happy holidays!

I can't imagine running into Brandon or his bros while he's filming, that's cool.
That rattle trap looked more like a perch then a bluegill
Great show love to be out there doing that with you keep up the great work.
Yes lure Time
This would be so fun to find that many
Good opportunity to clean up some abandoned fishing line too. Save somebody getting caught up in somebody else's garbage.
Stressing me out just yanking on those guys.
It’s a Mann’s Baby -1 ...
Really good shall run and crank bait
It's weird, here in Kentucky whenever I find lures there's always fishing line attached to them.
Merry Christmas
Ironically enough I bought both a flicker shad and two live target swimbaits because of Brendan so that's gonna be cool
I have gone camping to that same lake for 4 years Guilford lake state park
Some one having an treble day that’s awesome
I wish the water in my lakes would drop a little so i could do this. I can think of 1 nice tree lay down that has at least 4 of my lures stuck in it so I wonder who else lost stuff there.
