BTW I met Hugh Mendl back in the 70s I was friends with his oldest son Charles in Toronto where Hugh visted his ex wife and kids. a very down to earth guy. he never mentioned his conection with nthe auditions at Decca where he was AR
To know, know, know her Is to love, love, love her Just to see her smile Makes my life worthwhile Yes, just to know, know, know her Is to love, love, love her And I do and I do And I do I'll be good to her I'll make love to her Everyone says there'll come a day When I walk alongside of her Yes, just to know, know, know her Is to love, love, love her And I do and I and I do and I do And I and I do and I and I do and I Why can't she see? Hi Stu! :) Not sure if you'll reply, but I was just wanting to ask to you palm mute the hofner? And if not, then what is the amp settings? Thank you :)
In fact, I was not intending to record it and other songs after 1962. The focus of my channel is Hamburg setlist, Quarryman stuff...but maybe I'll do it too. Keep in touch!
Ah I saw that, I was just wondering since it's still pre-fame and pre-October 62/ Love Me Do. I feel ya could do it spectacularly! :D Keep up the great work, this is a job I never expected anyone to do and you're nailing it! We gonna get obscure Hamburg things like Take Out Some Insurance On Me?
Yep It's the spot. I'll try slowly keep doing (or as fast as I can) adding new songs..,it's not easy, is time consuming, but with public positive answers I am having, all job worth and I'm enjoying to do it a lot.
Though most of the BBC sessions were post '62, they still represent the Beatles through their early live years. There's so much great material there, enough to keep you busy for years!😄
Really enjoying your Hamburg era Beatles renditions.................
Thank You!
Hope you continue to post the videos..............
