- Most every thing sold for what it was worth. Most likely there were a few no sales. I bought some big equipment and resold it that day. I ended up with a corn picker and some junk.

I wonder if 69 had to pay auctioneers commission just for the opportunity to buy back his own tractor? Like Bill R said. Didn't this guy ever heard of a reserve? By the sound of things he also owned the 4440. Aren't those old N series Ford's and TO series Ferguson foot cookers ever going to go away.?
1/2 commision on a buy back. No reserve at this auction. 4440 different owner, N Fords are everywhere I have two of them.
On the John Deere 4240, if i'm not mistaken , bidder #69 won the auction with a bid of $19,500.00. The other gentleman bidding got out at $19,400.00. Sounds like the winning bidder actually owned this tractor and was trying to get $22,000.00 for it. Listen to the man talking at 26 min.45 seconds , Old Farm Junk said you got it and it sounds like he said it was his. Old Farm Junk asked what did he want for it and he said $22,00.00. Why would he have bid on his own tractor, should have had a reserve instead. Was this shill bidding? I would be curious to know what went on here. Old farm Junk, can you possibly find out for everyone who watches your channel. I'm sure others would like to know.
At this auction there is no reserve. You have to protect your stuff. You pay 1/2 the commision of the final bid for a no sale.
@@oldfarmjunk101 According to all i can find out about this auction, the owner bid on his own tractor to try and get the price up to $22.000.00. This would have been fine if this was a "with reserve" auction and the other bidders been told prior that the owner might be bidding. However , this was a no reserve auction according to the auction house web page. Therefore the man bidding against the owner should have won the auction at his highest bid prior to the owners first bid. If you are not willing to gamble on what you might get at a no reserve auction, you better take your items to a "with reserve" auction.
I had a guy do the same thing to me once on some smaller items. The owner bid against me until i quit bidding and he was stuck with the pieces. He needed money and he actually told the auctioneer. They backed up his bids and let me have it at my first bid against him. I'm sure this might be done quite a bit but isn't known about.
