How about you you Scotch tape or literally any sort of cling wrap that way you're not covering up part of your screen! Hip shot actually makes some that cling to your screen and comes right off without having any adhesive on at all, it's transparent and translucent where the actual marks are so it doesn't get much better than that. Black spot covering up the entire spot isn't going to make it a thousand times easier and it eats away the air bubbles in between the glass, making it so it looks like it had a heater against it.
Dude it's funny ya lil jagoff he made a quality video who gives a fuck if he's trash at the game anyways glueing fucking shit to my screen w wires hanging across doesn't help shit these things suck
Ive used it and surprisingly, it does help a lot. You have to lick the suction cup and it will stay first time. I used it while playing Ghosts, and i think it fits better with the COD series due to smaller maps and an increased use of hipfire when compared to Battlefield.
Guide to make your own dot on your screen - if you dont have access to tape & sharpie. - Take a straw from like... mcdonalds. - Take the paper off the straw. - Using your teeth, bite the end of the straw paper off. - Chew the paper, make sure you get the paper moist with your own saliva. - Take nasty ass paper from your mouth and stick in on the screen. - Then, find a real .45 handgun loaded in 1 round .45 ammo. - Point loaded .45 handgun to your head - Pull the trigger. Congratulations, you're dead.

Or if you don't want to spend anything, get a piece of paper, make it into a small circle colour it in red (optional) Then use tape to stick it on to your tv, no slipping, no falling off, no wire down your screen PERFECT! XD
when you're not zoomed in with a sniper or any gun the 4 hash marks represent a shot radius which means your shot can hit anywhere inside of that Circle as you noticed when you zoom in the hash marks get smaller in diameter
I got mine from Amazon yesterday arrives around Friday. I'm decent at Call Of duty and other shooters. I just want to see if this helps out a little or not. I didn't pay the $25.00 price I got it for around maybe $16.00 or $20.00. But I think what I should do is before I hook this up. Maybe I should clean the screen of my Plasma screen clean. Maybe that's why the suction cup didn't stay on securely maybe the surface was dirty.
@@scuettedrauker6598 i reckon it's just for people with poor hand eye coordination i doubt it would make your aim better in the full sense but perhaps more make you more consistent
It's extremely useful but situational mainly helpful with a run and gun type gameplay. If you have problems with centering in fast paced gunfights then boom anything similar to this is going to help IMMENSELY. This however is not made to ADS nor does it reduce spread but can help you save a split second lining up your shot when you go from sprinting to getting your gun up.
I've been using it on COD and it works great. Probably works better because I'm playing on a MUCH LARGER screen though (70 inch LED). I absolutely love it for close quarters combat and my KDR has definitely improved...
I have 1 myself, it helps if u wet the suction just a tad, then it will stick like glue.. i play cod where the bullets go straight.. i know B.F. is a more realistic game with the bullet drop and all.. but anyways.. i find it helpful keeping my sights where they need to b, instead of all over the place when im running and i suddenly need to aim in a doorway to shoot somebody.. just my 2 cents.
ADS>>Hip shooting Personally I think this thing would work on counter strike(no ADS except for snipers), or sniper rifles, which generally have no crosshairs and need to ADS.
I think you also have to check to see what the weapon hip fire accuracy is. The weakness a weapon is in accuracy in hip fire I think will determine if it sites right on the red dot or completely off. Try with gun with better hip fire accuracy.
I feel you can get the same result but less distracting by using a red dry-erase marker. Granted, it's not all bright, but if you really want a dot in your screen to help your bad aiming, then that is the cheapest solutions.
What's the point, you're playing in normal mode where you have a crosshair anyway. There are monitors that actually have a button you can press that overlays a dot on your screen now days, too.
just take a regular suction cup and use that --- the originals are usually more see thru except for the part you hold which is pure white. then you just take a red pen, marker, sharpie, or even paint and put a dont on the white part - simple
I thought everybody knew when trying to get a suction cup to stick to something you're supposed to use a little bit of moisture or spit and the damn thing will stick forever
That might be dangerous on a monitor worth 500$. I don't think you want to do that: that's why you can stick 2 of these thing so they can both support each others with no moist.
It's almost as if you came into this "review" with a mission to discredit the device. Aside from the suction issue that may have been fixed by simply licking the suction cup or making sure you're using a TV and not a monitor, you were extremely close-minded about the applicability of the device. No one who plays any of today's first-person-shooters would expect the dot to replace aiming down sight, since the games intend the aiming to be less accurate when during from the hip. It is meant to help you align your aim strategically while moving around the map faster and easily see where the center of your screen is in chaotic close quarters engagements where the crosshairs can get lost in the movement, background that doesn't contrast it (white background w/white crosshairs), and have a better idea of where you're throwing grenades. Also, this can be most useful in some games' hardcore modes that don't have crosshairs. It's as if you'd never played a first-person-shooter before.
a) wet the suction cup slightly and it wont fall off.... b) why are you using a weapon with a high rate of fire? It's not going to be accurate from hip because it jerks when aiming and requires multiple shots.
I thought that aiming down sights makes shots more accurate. When the crosshairs are wide (like when you're using the sniper rifle) the bullets can fly anywhere in that radius right?
Advice... Try to plug Over TV instead underneath.. because de Gravity , red dot almost fall. run the cable behind the TV and over it so that it does not slide.
I would never buy this but the idea is sound. It allows you to more accurately place your reticle it the proper place for a quick ADS. I use a piece of tape though. Works well for titan fall when using cloak because cloaking and sniping disables the reticle. It would work well for other games I would imagine. ...
This product is useless because ADS is more accurate. Even trying to no-scope snipe is pointless because the bullets will go anywhere within the accuracy indicator(lines around crosshair) which is wider than the dot, making it useless.
Isn't this just the same as sticking a piece of blu-tack on the screen ? We use to do that in ScoutzKnives in Counter Strike.Sure, it was cheating but it was free cheating!
suction cups get unsticky when the oil from your fingers get on the sticky side. Good ol' alcohol will solve that problem, however, I am not so sure it is safe for a screen.
U have to consider that on most god games the bullet doesn't go straight unless you aim the bullet goes randomly within the reticle that being said it's good for being ready when you want to aim down sights
so this is actually not the type of product you would think. it has better accuracy cause it calibrates your screen to where you dont have to aim down sight to shoot. keeps the spread minimal as if you were aiming down sight thats why it plugs into your ps3.
I see this working for quick scoping, but not no-scoping. BF4 has too much accuracy penalties for hip firing. This video certainly made me laugh every time the suction cup fell off the screen. I just found these online and I'm glad I found this video, I was very close to an impulse buy.

I think that thing is for games that have no bullet deviation like CoD. Any game that has bullet spread will be ineffective to use with the Red Dot shit

Possibly the dumbest thing ever, minus the Speedboard from the NES days.
It can be useful for games that don't have crosshairs for the sniper rifle. Pretty pointless if you have a visible crosshairs in the game.
Why waste money on this though, get your own suction thing and paint it red. I couldn't stop staring at the wire.
lmao you should of test it on cod, bf is crazy when your getting shot at and trying to find who is shooting to shoot back at times. I just use a protective screen for a cell phone and draw a little dot where the aim is. I can't play cod with out it I got so use to it, but on bf it doesn't seem to help a whole lot
Its a suction cup, get it wet then stick to tv.
