No, TEN is Thai not Chinese
Sorry, my mistake! I remember reading something about him being Chinese on a kpop profile site and I might have remembered it wrong! I fact checked it and I'll address it next NCT reaction!
His ethnicity is Chinese but nationality is Thai. Research before you correct people, please.

Probably the reason why you couldn't help to compare Straykidz and NCT coz their music (title tracks) are a little bit similar. However before Straykids there was NCT. And NCT was the one who popularized the Noise music in kpop and the switchups in a song (although SM has been doing that since 2013, If i'm not mistaken)
i feel like the main difference for me in their title tracks is that NCT put more emphasis on vocals rather than skz on the beat / beatdrop
nct has more rnb parts and skz more pop rap
and nct like to chant together or sing together (but it's mainly an SM thing) and they always have a dance break
but they both focus on performance and choreo

NCT LITERALLY POPULARISED NOIZE / NEO SOUND IN KPOP. No one was doing it but now every 4th gen bgs make noise music.

TEN learned to speak Chinese since he debuted with WayV(the Chinese unit), actually he is 100% Thai (his mom and dad is Thai).
I saw that his profile said that he's Chinese ethnicity but it was born in Thailand
@@HASHTAGELEVATEDactually he have Chinese ethnicity because many people who lives in Thailand now came from China. So their ancestors came to Thailand but we can't say them Chinese because they don't have that Chinese culture among them anymore they are like pure Thai. I am not 100% sure.

Chinese ppl immigrated to Thailand more than 100 years ago so we mostly quite mix a lot especially our generation even though we have Chinese blood but we don’t speak Chinese. We need to go to learn in language schools if we interested in Chinese language because our parents don’t speak Chinese they are also borned and rose in Thailand as well

The current biggest US producer that makes hits for SM is Dem Jointz (producer of NCT 127 - Kick It.)
Dwayne Allen Abernathy Jr - Compton CA. He is a producer, songwriter and a singer. He has produced songs/albums for SM artists EXO, Shinee, NCT as a whole and three sub-units (NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream). He also produced RUN BTS for BTS.
He is a well known, and respected music producer in the US music industry. He has produced for Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Anderson Paak, Kendrick Lamar and more. Dem Jointz can be recognized by his "Incoming!" and "Dem Jointz" producer tags in the beginning of the songs he has produced, and also "and now the breakdown" at the breakdown of a song. I recommend looking up his discography. There is a decent (not complete) one on Wikipedia so you can see which SM artist songs he has produced or co-produced. 😀
