I always chuckle when I hear "Judeo-christian" anything. Besides incorporating the Torah into the bible, the beliefs could not be more different.

God in the old testament can be pretty anti Jewish as well. He's very angry at them many times. He's constantly scolding them for disobeying him, worshiping the gods of the people around them that they were told not to do from Moses in the commandments and they were doing their own thing. Saying the new testament is in any way bad mouthing them is wildly ignoring the old testament. Even the greatest of God's people disobeyed him near the end of their story and fell to sins. I wouldn't say the gospels were anti Jewish, but sought to first save the jews from their own corruption and the corruption of the Rabbis and their incorrect teachings and incorrect interpretations, at the time of Jesus there were two types of jews, those that followed Jesus and those that followed Rabbis. Those that followed him along with the Gentiles would be called Christians and then there were those that believed the Rabbis chose to remain Jewish.

I read the book but I wish it included citation of where it says these things in the talmud. I can't find any of these quotes when I google the babylonian talmud and I wish I could to show people. But they will just say that the author is making things up so I wish I knew what the sources were for the claims. For example the quote "there is no reason to be ashamed because we rightfully executed a blasphemer and idolater."
I am certain that Prof Peter Schaefer has all the citations in the footnotes. Please recall that [even as Rabbis admit] many copies of the Talmud were SELF Censored by the Rabbis in the Middle Ages so that they may continue to publish them in Christian Europe.
@@TrueChristianityCatholic I could tell they were censored when I would find "full versions" with no mention of Jesus or Yeshu and then go to another and find many instances about Jesus. I did end up finding what they say about their idea that Jesus is boiling in excrement, that he was a blasphemer and idolater "stoned to death and hung" which was enough to prove my claims that the jews in fact did have him killed. People were trying to say the jews had no hand whatsoever in killing only the Romans. But romans do not execute for blasphemy or idolatry, if so they'd have killed every single jew as they opposed their religious beliefs.

I am commenting on this video and I want feedback on what I am replying to it makes sense. My comment: The Talmud was altered over the years and burned even by the church. Before it got published publicly is was an ongoing polemic dispute on who the Jesus of the Talmud is. The Talmud doesn’t mention Jesus of Nazareth. I have the complete Talmud in print at home and he isn’t mentioned in the text.

However, most modern editions published since the early 20th century have restored most of the references.

If they were removed by Christian censors then how can they be restored and proven original? If the Talmud is talking about Jesus of Nazareth how can it be the Christian Jesus, when every Jesus lived prior to 76 BCE or around the year 136 CE? Apparently, Jesus and then Paul started a civil war within ancient Judaism between those who insisted that Jesus was the Messiah and those who denied it. This schism became extremely hateful. As recorded in the Talmud of the Pharisaic sect that invented modern 'Judaism' with No Temple, No Priesthood and No Sacrifice.
There are indeed writings about a 'Yeshua' or 'Yeshu' (taking to mean Jesus) in the Talmud but all should realize that 'Yeshu' or 'Yeshua"' was a VERY common name in Israel circa 1AD. A careful analysis shows that one particular individual of such name lived about a century BEFORE Jesus of Nazareth and another, born about a century AFTER the crucifixion.
