      Try going to the home page and go to the brush at the top of the page. Keep hitting it until you get 0.
      Or go to the tanggula home page (not the app) go to setting - Apps - look for tangtv. Then go down to clear cache.

    Hi Jason it's Jamie I left a message on the first video I have 2 Tanggula x1 4GB 128GB can I do this on my Tanggula box's I don't have a sticker on my box's I just have the faded writing on the back of the box how can I up date my box's do it work the same or do I have to contact tanggula

      Hi James, I would contact Tanggula Before you try this. But can you try something? Go to setting then apps. Open the Tangtv app and see if you see the S/N is there.

    i upgraded the box a month ago but now i gets lots of buffering some channels don't work or blue background with a big X also no more french channels, i told them my problem a few time but they told me they are still working on it well it's been over a month ago that i have this problem, would you know whats going on T.Y

      Hi Max. I have the same problem. This isn't the first time they did something like this, I thing they released this upgrade too soon. You just got to give it some time. When I find out anything I will post it. Sorry I don't have anything else to tell you.

    I have the X1 series and I think the main problem is the video to do the update, it shows that you have to restart the device but in reality the box restarts and the application is deleted I just want to know if there is a way to recover the app and what the system detects the application to be able to update, my box has the S/N

      You can try doing a factory reset.

      Yes. But before you ununstall the app. Make sure you find the S/N. If you can't find it. Look for the username.
      The username is the S/N.

    Thanks for your help. My settings didn’t say uninstall but said disable. Once I did that then install Tang tv it worked. Just need to refresh the EPG.

      Got mine fixed the only thing now is when I try to reset my EPG it says failed. I’ve trie several times I unplugged it and it still said failed. Ant suggestions? Also how do I reset the time zone? Thanks for your help. Your videos are always informative.

      Hi Hector. All the tanggula boxes have to be updated. I was told by tanggula some boxes need a username & password. To be safe contact Tanggula before trying this upgrade.

    Love the videos, but I have a different issue. Before updating my box I have to uninstall the previous Tang tv, but I don't have that option. Can I just disable it?

      Hi Eddie. I'm not sure, but before you do anything. Look for the S/N and check with tanggula. Because I know a few people got a message saying "Not a tanggula box"

    I did the update and cannot get my guide to work. I went to epg, hit refresh and still says failed. Did this numerous times throughout the day,still nothing. Any suggestions? Thank you

      I cannot find where to reboot, only to restart. Now the live TV quit working and I get an error code 01. I tried to restart and still nothing .

    My box keeps buffering after I updated it. I have the tanggula x5. Is there something I can do to fix that? It does the circle thing every two or three minutes.

      I'm not sure why your EPG isn't working. I just tried it now and it refreshed. I'm thinking it's being blocked. Can you try rebooting your modem or try using Hotspot. Just to see if that helped.

      Some people don't want there boxes. So they just buy a S/N from them for there devices.

      The superbox is usually good. If your running off WiFi, try moving the box away from any equipment. Try clearing the cache.

      If your modem isn't in the same room, switch to the 2.4G wifi. See if that helps.

    Per tanggula instructions, i swapped my x1 128gb for a x1 64gb with 'newer components' to handle the new app. Big mistake. Constant freezing, slower speeds, other apps are slow. They have no answer for this. They screwed over older customers to avoid what? Password sharing? The service is terrible now.

      Same here, the box was good before this update and now I don't even use it anymore. I can't take the buffering anymore.

      @@JasonTech Buffering is only part of the issue. Every app lags. I upgraded from 400mb internet plan to 1gb.
      Speed tests used to be 400mbs+ // VPN 75-100mbs. After upgrade 800mbs+ // VPN 185-200mbs. After new app installed, 400-600mbs // VPN 10-17mbs. My VPN upload is faster than the download.

    We followed the instructions on the Video and we got to the end and got the error message: "Warning. We detect your device type is not Tanggula devices. Please use it on Tanggula devices. Thank you" and then get the option to quit. We do have a Tanggula Device. What are we doing wrong?

      Hi Sharon. I'm not sure, I know a lot of people are getting that same message. I asked Taggula about this, all they said is "get them to email us with the S/N"
      Try contacting them with your S/N.

      Hi James. I don't have a X1 box to do a video on for you. I asked Tanggula about the X1, They said you can find the S/N if you go to
      setting then apps. Look for the Tangtv app, open it and you should see the S/N.

      @@JasonTech Jason tech I haven't looked yet my box's is still new I have not open them yet I was saving them for when I move back to O'Fallon Missouri I bought them in 2021 for my self for Christmas I am living in West Memphis Arkansas been trying to get back to O'Fallon Missouri and get my own place I just wanted to know what to do if the app dent work what to do and I have you to thank for all the help you have given me I had bought 2 Tanggula 4GB 128GB and 2 ZYF z10 air mouse remote with the box's and I thank you again for your help what if they is no delete for the tanggula app what would I do thank you for helping me out

      You're Welcome. But before you delete anything, reach out to tanggula. Because a lot of people are having problem doing the upgrade on the X1. One person comment, he said he hit logged out and the user name was his S/N. And that's how he did the upgrade.

    So far this has been a horrible experience - you are an awesome dude, but you are taking for granted that all of us are as “tech savvy” as you are. I have completed the downloads, but you continued to File and said “you can see the downloads.” Neither on your pictured screen on my real screen is there anything that looks like what you are talking about. Please tell me how to find the downloads. This is a really horrible thing that they are making us do and I resent it, particularly because I am doing in on the new Elite. Thank you so much, I couldn’t have down this without you.
