I played AC1 in my college dorm when I was 19, not thinking that it would change how I viewed history, my relationships with others, and my self confidence. 15 years later, at my 34th year around the sun, I am still amazed by what this franchise has become. I am 32 and share a similar upbringing as you two, I remember going through a depression spell through highschool and one day I decided to just go for a walk around my city for hours, places I'd never walked before, i stopped at a walmart and spent the only $60 I had to my name on Assassins Creed. Needless to say the game cured my depression lol.

Not that I want it to overstay its welcome but it honestly is not as bad as people made me think. So far the stealth is OK and the main character not being an assassin works alright for this particular story

Hey Ubisoft, I entered the Assassin's universe initially from Black Flag. That title was absolutely captivating! Then came Unity, it was magnificent! And when Syndicate came, it was great! Then we got Origins, i began to "huh?" And Odyssey, it was like "..ooo...kay?" Then Valhalla was a letdown. I hope I can get the initial reaction with Mirage! Thank you to all of the producers and other people that have critically involved in these projects!

that's because they cut it from the original version of ACIII which is a shame cause that added much more substance and depth to the character
It's from a longer speech that was cut out from the game. You can easily find it.
