I had over 300 fractured items drop off one mob. They went across the entire cemetery map in all 4 directions and the ball of light where they dropped was so big if covered my entire screen and froze my game and kicked me on my ps5 lol!

@@ewave9643 console for me personally sucks, never get drops, performance is absolute dog shit, trade sucks because there isnt as many people which also means some items youll be paying WAAAAAAAY more for than you should, i quit this league tbh seei g everyone else get absolutely bombed with divs/chaos and i couldnt get 1 div to drop after playing for over a month

@@exiledfried7822i hate the term skill issue but that's like half right with the right atlas you can get currency easy but.. TIME is the biggest factor. Trust me the people getting showered in currency have the hours to back it up. I played a fresh league right after knee surgery so I pretty much did t leave my couch.. yeah I was rich AF in poe 😂

Can confirm. PoE makes my 4090/7800x3D weak at the knees.
I didn't take the loot filter thing serious until I got to the endgame and was like wow this is literally unplayable
Its clearly not about the gpu, as there are no graphics added. Just cpu calculations.
It also has nothing to do with the processor. The game engine is trash.

the GPU can be used for many non-graphics related tasks.
Once you reach this point in the league, just unbind the alt key. Worst case your loot got rolled back
Why? You can use it as logout macro
Your loot would never get rolled back from a client-sided disconnect. That makes no sense.

@@TheTuttle99no. This happened always. When you get disconnected you loss all the portals to the map eventhough you only entered once. So you actually lose all the loots inside the map.
there is a reason why loot filter is a must in poe.

Something tells me it's more to do with engine or codeing limitation then graphical or g memory issues

Developers talked about it in their interview with DM and Ghazzy.
This disconnect was caused by item label algorythm being extremely inefficient. Because they coded it over 10 years ago they didnt build it to handle thousand of items and once, and were never anticipating that this will become an issue.
So its not 4090, its game engine hanging the game, and server severing this dead connection
No one blamed the 4090 lmao, they were saying the optimization is so bad that even something as GOOD as the 4090 still dies
@@slam6802 necrocomment, but again, even if we theoretically got 4090 multiplied by infinite times, if would still hang the game and disconnect. Because the problem is game engine processing item labels, and taking longer than 15 seconds. It's a CPU and algorhytm problem, not GPU, as was stated by developers.
each label needs to check where the other labels are to be positioned. with too many it has too much at once to do. they've said they want to improve that.
Improve it by dropping only relevant items to begin with.
@@michaelharbach1987 any item can be relevant to someone, that's how PoE itemization works. Loot filters do the thing you want, but you can't ask them to remove loot altogether.
@@ArnoldsKtmhow is a level 5 base relevant item in t16 map? They could easily cull 90% of drops and nobody would notice be cause they dont show up on even the most unrestricting filters
But instead they cull the actually good loot

4070 ti with i9-13900k, I can’t even handle group MF, my computer will freeze and crash if I stay too long at the mobs.. I did a Dex stack with sieged ballista/enhance on diallas for the fuck of it and when my totems shot, it’s either I died or I killed the boss because my screen froze when they started shooting

gonna be real, this does not seem like fun. Gotta have plugins and loot filters just for the game to not crash? And this is better than D4 out right? Naw both games are broken to the core, and you just chose which type of broken you like better.
I'm pretty sure the game automatically culls the 3D models of unlabeled item drops now. It used to render them all, all the time!
There might still be an option to turn on permanent rendering of all the items. What’s funny is this was a recent change. Poe went a decade in its lifespan with 0.5fps maps because of item rendering

I had to move alt key bind to another one as sometimes I used to press it while checking suffix/prefix and you get portal to logging screen.

I think Goratha has a filter on his poe profile that hides any currency stacks that would be below 1c and only shows the relevant unique bases (its a filter for HC so idk how useful it might be to you)

Enabling dx12 makes my gpu run at 120c, while playing war thunder at max setings and dx12 runs at 60c, i have to play on dx11 max setings and have 30-40c
Yes bud, your GPU runs at 120c because for some unexplained reason downclocking did not kick in like 30-40c degrees earlier and somehow it does not suffer fatal failure after reaching unimaginable temperatures.
DX12 on PoE is trash. Nothing but problems.

@@johnwalker3602 Same, but I was getting random disconnects/freezes. Sometimes the whole PC would lock up and I'd have to force restart. Vulkan has too much screen tearing.
Only other option was DX11 which has worse performance and load times, but has been really consistent.
The game engine is made in garage. They basically made PoE around a bug. How can a small indie company can upgrade their game engine? Especially with this low price supporter packs...

I realized this yesterday sadly, PoE is no longer on my ps4. Not an Poe casual but I love the concept of Poe and it's intricate system, but I know my ps4 will not be able to handle endgame content so I decided to rip the bandaid now rather than later

The game is CPU bound, and crashed the game when so many items and texts where supposed to instantly appear on the screen.
@PeanutMike That's the issue. In gaming, those things on screen are CPU bound. It's how it works. The CPU makes the calculation.
And because of the bad optimization, it crashes. But it's still CPU bound. :))

It's mostly about processor tho and game engine
Anyone with a 4090 isn't gonna have a trash CPU, but the fact is, the RNG was already ran when the item was generated and the game didn't crash until he tried to display them all which is 100% a GPU task.

Noone told you to press alt, whats the problem. Theres a reason loot filters exist for highend content and filtering what you actually want to see.
@PeanutMike you realize pressing alt in 99.99% of gameplay works fine. Extreme high levels of gameplay where you are dumping more money per map than over 90% of the player base makes will obviously fucking crash you. The sheer amount if item data in one juiced map outdoes any new players entire super casual learning first league experience. Raxx plays an abnormally high amount to compared to any new player, and he wants to do the highest level of content, which you see here. I do the same content (juicing no magic find) so i find less loot, but simply pumping thousands of mobs worth of loot into one instance, reguardless of magicfind, will overload your cpu if you reveal it all. Dont have a smartassed attitude cause you dont understand it. Please let more informed people explain it to you in a civil manner.
also, they've said they're working on a fix for that.
this was never an issue because this amount of loot is not normal.
@@ArnoldsKtm the amount is normal for putting 5divs in a map, for poe1. poe2 will have dumbed down loot in favor of higher value mods, which will lessen loot. for the first few leagues. but once juicing is possible again i don't personally think it will stop crashing problems.
anyway, this is a biased anti poe comment. not worth the effort.
