I started watching broadchurch thanks to Olafur Arnalds. What a great a show, Olafur's music is making it so emotional. This song is perfect, and was played on the perfect moment of the show.
I don't even have to think twice buying Olafur's material. The only problem is, he usually has me blubbing and in a wet mess within five secs of playing any of the Broadchurch ST. Just beautiful x
Ólafur, thank you for creating such a beautiful art. You have the ability to express what we can't, the human feelings and emotions of sadness, of joy, of hope, of love. You create in every piece of music a wonderful mix that feeds our soul and heart. We all love you.
It makes me think of all the bad days I had as a kid...and when I didn't think anyone knew how I felt, I wasn't alone. Even though I felt alone, I wasn't. God was holding me in His hand, and caught every tear I cried.
What is it about Iceland that produces the most musical geniuses per square mile than any other place on Earth? Water? Landscape? Whatever it is, I'm certainly thankful of the process.
What a perfect match! Here, in France, Broadchurch season 2 ended two hours ago… And a great end!… So glad that this show made me know Olafur Arnalds and his beautiful music, last year… Still chilling compositions!
No one! Just no one will find a better show a better soundtrack with better actors, with better scenery, with better producers, better “emotional state. No one, because this Series is better, the soundtrack moves you! The actors a better! The scenery is worth watching, the emotional state is worth crying for! Thank you Broadchurch for making me remember that each day I have to keep fighting for a better life, a to remember that we are “not all alone” 💕
Thank you for this song !!! I was looking for it since I watched the episode 2.08 and I don't know why I didn't find it before now, but I really love it !

As far as I can recall, this played on two occasions in season two: Episode 6 - after Alec has his surgery and Tess has taken him home. This plays when he's on the phone to Daisy and continues playing on. Episode 8 - during the final scenes after we see the Millers and Latimers on the beach. We hear it prominently when Alec is walking to the cab and the cabbie asks "where to, Sir?"
The broadchurch music always gives me chills
same
Even Alec is kinda creepy... it's like he doesn't have emotions.
@@some_idiot1646 HUH he has emotions lots of it hes angry properly angry

Music is so important for a series to be successful.
Widdums7 I agree with this 100%. I tend to listen to a shows music first before watching it.

🔥
Does anyone know which part of Broadchurch this plays in?
I think it's Danny's funeral at the end of season 1.
Could be wrong

EMS Productions The end of episode 8 season 2 :)
Yes, it's the ending of season 2 (2.08)
It's played one more time. In season 3...when Mark is doing spoilery stuff that I won't mention.

I WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN BROADCHURCH....WITH ALL " les belles personnes "...
anyone know the time signature of this song? I can't figure it out :(
Sounds like 3/4 to me. 1, 2, 3, with emphasis on the 1.
Rachel Adjeleian if you go by the steady piano in the background i would have said it was 4
3/4, or 6/8
Late to the party but if you count from when the second “layer” of the higher octave piano comes in, the phrase is actually in 12 1/4 notes

You were wrong, by the way. We are not all alone.
