@MisC21 Flygon is underrated if you ask me. It's not about what Pokémon you use in battle, it's how you use them in battle. That's why my Torterra has won every fight against Cynthia and her Garchomp in Brilliant Diamond. Just go with Curse, Leech Seed , Razor Leaf and Synthesis and a nature that boosts Torterra's Defense. Go with Curse first, then use Leech Seed, then either Curse or Synthesis, depending on the situation. I chose Razor Leaf over Wood Hammer to make sure Torterra wouldn't waste its HP. And Razor Leaf has a good chance to land a critical hit. I could also have picked Earthquake, but that would make Torterra useless against Pokémon with Levitate and force it to switch or waste PP. Sorry for the long text, I think you get the point 😅
I feel like the catalyst is the Semifinal Theme from Pokemon Colosseum/XD. Would make sense, given that not only is the game in a desert region, but it is also up to Gen 3 and Flygon is available in both Colosseum and XD.
