This game is the most legendary game ever made. It's what made me get into racing games. I also got into fixing my own car because this game inspired me into parts 'n stuff. I've never played a better car game than this.

I would love for more than a remaster. I'd love for SEGA to make a new game in this series. It'd be the perfect competitor to both Gran Turismo AND Forza. But, of course, SEGA would rather make 5000 Sonic games than focus on their more original IP's.

Looking at this game now in 2020.. they went all out on the car models and reflections for the time! I won't speak for the backgrounds, but the cars themselves hold up!
You can tell just by looking at it this game was meant for the Dreamcast and ported over. Got my old Xbox out of the closet, getting into it again. Finding racers highly playable from back then. PGR, Toca 2... Getting Forza and I have Sega GT 2002/JSRF, but haven't given it a try yet. I'm finding a lot of games still playable from back then.
I hated this game at first for that same reason and because I had project gotham racing which in my opinion was way better. After some time I decided to give sega gt another chance and I actually like it a lot once I got used to it
Back when I got my xbox when it was released, I finished this game in one weekend, It's just so addictive, and the driving model is superb. SS license was a cause of frustration until I got it ;p
I loved this game and played it endlessly, i thought it was better than Grand trismo. Loved the single player garage, felt more personal, truly missed this game. Maybe sega will make Sega GT2 with exactly the same format

This was my first time I ever played on my Xbox 360 it's compatable with it I remember the Ford GT 40the good old days of games im 13 and this game was dope when I was young.

I had PS2, he had Xbox and Gamecube. And he had the bundled disc of this and Jet Set Radio Future with his Xbox. Takes me back. Also, the music sounds errily similar style to the OST from Aero Elite, another Sega game from a year or 2 later. Anyone know if it's the same composer?
Like many here I also had the one with Jet Set Radio. I preferred this game though. A vivid memory I have is that I found out how to get nitrous for the drag racing from the internet.
I still have my original Xbox that came with two copies and one disc, Sega, GTA and jet set radio. I believe my Xbox because it has no problems with it and I have almost 200 Xbox games. I think it would be worth a lot of money to the right collector but this video game right here is the one that started it for Xbox, Sega, GT. Because after that, they went to making a better game Forza motorsport. That game is really fun. Forza motorsport from the original Xbox all the way too Xbox 360 and then Xbox series X to Xbox one I love Forza, motorsport number one video game to me great video I haven’t played my original Xbox in a long time. I even have the original Xbox, green halo, collectors, edition Consol with game.
I Had the Jet set Radio combo and Me and my cousin use to go at it on this game With the fastest exotic cars on the nuringburg Stage (it was always talked abt in the racing world like its legendary and difficult ) so we wanted to find out and loved it 🔥🔥🔥

JSRF can be emulated on the PC now. It works extremely well.

You know what's awesome? The original Xbox only had 64 MB of RAM. That means that this game is only running below that limit.
And it even had some games in 720p. Insane.
