One of the best songs because it uses an opioid to describe how drugs actually work when you're "high". And when you consider that you can't have a permanent high, you understand why you take the dangerous route with drugs because nobody wants to experience an extreme low! im pretty fucking sure that this band is the reason i have such an undying love for all things metal today ESPECIALLY melo death. this was on crusty's demons of dirt and i watched that vhs religiously with my older brother growing up. when i finally heard metal again when i was a little older it immediately sounded awesome. looking back, im sure it was because of this song alone.
+lenny judd Holy Shit dude, I bought the soundtrack to a crusty demons thing coz it had a few songs by bands i was sort of into and it showed me these guys and thats how i got into metal!
Metal no doubt, but the Goth influence in Moonspell's music and themes is undeniable. The deep clear vocal parts sound very similar to the classic goth band Killing Joke for instance.
LOVED me some Crust Demons, so you ride too then. Braaaap/ :-D

They are a bada55 band lol I went through this phase in my early 20s where I wanted to hear metal bands from my both of my parents home countries. And I'm glad I found this one. First time I remember hearing them I showed my mom and we both came to the conclusion that he looked like Dracula that song we listend to was "Night Eternal" still my fav by them. 🤘😂
Yes he does and also looks like one. Im glad you liked the band. The singer Fernando Ribeiro is an amazing guy and has an amazing voice. A fun fact about him is that he is very good friends with another portuguese metal band called Bizarra Locomotiva, Fernando Ribeiro performs "O Anjo Exilado" and "O Escaravelho" in almost every Bizarra concert and the vocalist of Bizarra, Rui Sidónio, also an amazing guy with an incredible voice, performs "Em Nome do Medo" in many Moonspell concerts and if im not wrong both bands did an Iberian tour in Portugal and Spain a few years ago.
