If I was being picky, the formation of some of the sentences were a bit 'high-school textbook' like and a couple minor grammar errors which don't affect understanding. But for 30 days that level of speaking is extremely impressive. You could easily pass as someone who'd lived in germany for a year or two and had been learning while living here. For 30 days worth of work that's double backflip levels of impressed

As a German I found this video entertaining as heck
    Also it is pronounced " 'zy:s "
I can only imagine how hard words containing " ä, ö, ü, ß " must be for a foreigner but your wording was on point
These 'Umlaute' (the letters with dots above them) must be learned but the ß, which is also known as 'scharfes s' or 'sharp s' can be read as 'sz'
It's basically a sharp variant of the regular s and is used mostly in words consisting of at least two s's. In Germany we had a grammatical reform in which some old words containing 'ß' were changed to 'ss'. For example the word 'dass' used to be written as 'daß', same goes for 'muß' (which got changed fo muss) and some other cases. Hope this helps you understand difficult words like 'süß'
I voluntarily learnt German with a Ukrainian child and I can totally relate to the statement of German being a horrible language to learn.
But I'm hyped to see you get fluent in German, good work on your language progress so far! I hope I'll also be able to speak Russian, Japanese and French in the next few years since I plan to visit these countries sometime

In Germany we are calling a website "Internetseite". Your german is really good especially for someone who is learning german for about 30 days. Great job!
The word "süß" which means "sweet" could have different meanings in german. We use it for "a sweet candy" or "the candy tastes very sweet" but otherwise we call something cute also "süß". For example "the cat looks so cute" = "Die Katze sieht so süß aus".
our chancellor's name is OLAF Scholz, not WOLAF :) We don't call him president, the german word is "Kanzler" for chancellor.
Keep going, you will speak german perfectly in 6 months if you're learning such as fast. Greetings from Germany.

I think your french accent comes down to your intonation. The intonation in french is pretty much always at the end of a word "grammatIK"... In german it's mostly somewhere in the middle or in the beginning: "gramMAtik". So you can start fixing your accent there. Else your german is really good. You are really nailing the conjugations and and articles.

German hacks for actually speaking it:
    1) Ignore Genetive case ... now you only have to worry about 3 cases.
    2) Ignore Future tense, use the present tense instead and add the information that you are referring to the future somewhere else in the sentence.
    3) Ignore the "Mitvergangenheit" past tense, say everything in the simple present perfect (except some modal verbs like "sein" or "have")
    4) Don't overcomplicate hypothetical sentences, "würde, würde" is your friend (same exceptions as in #3)

This video made me so happy. I've started learning german some 2 years back and I've quitted it multiple times between those 2 years, which made me go back to the basics many times even though I thought I was good in them just to be sure. Now I'm 100% focused in been able to speak it (different time in my life I guess lol). Going back to the original statement, this video made me so happy because even thought I'm not able to know the meaning of every single word you spoke, I was able to UNDERSTAND IT clearly, clearly as in "I'm able to write it just from listening". That means I'm going in the right path. I wish to live in Frankfurt one day, so it feels good when the language stops sounding like giberish everytime lol. It wouldn't be my first language to learn since I speak english since I was 10 years old (I'm not from an english speaking country), so I kinda know some ways I know for sure it will help me learning, but seeing the effects of your efforts is always nice.

Really good German for the most part.
3:34 One thing to note is that when you start a sentence with "Habe ich..." it's usually a question ("Habe ich Französisch gelernt?"). What you wanna do is put the subject first and say "Ich habe...".
When you put a "weil" before it (like you said in the video: "Weil habe ich...") it's not German in any case, it's "weil ich Französisch gelernt habe". It's similar in English actually, when you say "because have I learned French" is not proper English. In German we put the object before the verb in that particular case, which can be confusing, but we don't put the verb before the subject.

    • @tigrafale4610
      @tigrafale4610 Год назад +1

That's not always the case, which is the confusing part. Sometimes you put the subject after the verb even when it's not a question - "Das habe ich getan", or "In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gerne Tennis". I think the general rule is that the subject goes first as long as there's nothing before it. But I feel like I see exceptions to that from time to time.

@@lordehareIV "Habe" is correct and "high German", "hab" (or rather " hab' " and some variations of it) is what some parts of Germany, Switzerland, and basically all of Austria say in everyday speech. Especially for 30 days of learning, your German skills are immense.
I'll correct a few sentences, maybe it will help you with learning German.
At 0:55, you would say: "C2, würde ich sagen", not "werde ich sagen". Because werde is will do and würde is would do.
3:35, "Habe ich Französisch gelernt" is a question. In English it would be: "Have I learned french?". If you want to say you have already learned french, you'd say: "Ich habe Französisch gelernt"
3:46: süß (I am from Austria, we use the ß, in Germany it would be süss)
3:56, we would say: "Olaf Scholz ist der Präsident, oder so", not "etwas".
