- I recently bought the NEEWER 74" Pro Video Tripod and decided to do an unboxing. This isn't a product review video. I want to spend more time using the tripod in real situations before I do a review on it. This video will give a good idea of what comes with the tripod and it's capabilities. Is buying a budget tripod under $250 worth it? Let's find out!

This is actually the only video I have found with this newer tripod with adjusting resistance fluid head (TP75)

Having a removable head unit is very useful.
One could make a MONOPOD from a Timber baton
cut to the desirable length - which can be used in
instances where the ground is somewhat wet or muddy -
and it would not matter when the wooden Baton becomes
wet or dirty - One could even enclose the bottom of the
Hom-made monopod in plastic - or heat-shrink a plastic
water bottle over the bottom part which is in contact
with the ground.
I have used such a method when taking photos of a
football game - and sometimes the grass is somewhat
wet - and of course I don't wish to carry a heavy tripod -
let alone risking damage to it.

Yep! I use it with my mirrorless cameras. (Fujifilm XT3)

is the pannign smooth from your experience?
Simple movements seem to be pretty smooth. I haven't tried quick panning movements though.
Watched the whole video and you missed the most important part! How to level it, is there a spirit level or no?
It has a bubble level on the tripod head but that's the only way to tell if it's level.
What microphone do you have? Sounds amazing
