Everyone's saying that if Noelle just gave Alphys the chalk then the events of Deltarune 1 could have been avoided, but that's assuming Noelle didn't go out and buy a whole bunch of chalk specifically for Suzie

Hey I haven't seen anyone talk about a certain Easter egg that happened to me and idk if I'm just remembering it wrong or something, but when you leave the hospital room in chapter 2 after the snowgrave route and the screen is dark, try moving (I think it's moving right) and Noelle will freak out and say to get away from her. Either this is an Easter egg or I was just tired and imagined it.

The chalk turns into "Light Candy," which heals 120 HP. It's the best healing item for the secret route boss.

Get 4 Kris Tea and 2 Susie Tea, Susie Tea is for Kris and Kris Tea is for the others. Those also do 120 HP if you do that.
@@heyoyo10gaming4 In the secret route, the best items you can get are ones that heal 80 HP (Choco diamonds from chapter 1 or the bagels in chapter 2) EXCEPT for the light candy.

I chose "She's nice" instead of "Eats Chalk", and Noelle still gave Susie the chalk lunch.
Yeah, same. During my save I even told Onionsan Kris' name, but he referred to Kris as "Hippo" or something like that. I later replayed it (accidentally overwrote my Pacifist save with another run) and Onionsan used "Kris", so some things are definitely a bit buggy.

@@ying6115 I'm unsure about that because like I said, Onionsan called me the proper name on the same save file. Might just be a 50/50 chance.
Onion-San called my Kris Crisper and I didn't do that specific part in part 1.

It doesn't show up if you didn't have a steam save file for chapter one. For me, i played chapter one without steam, so i didn't get the chalk scene.
To think that if Noelle gave alphys the chalk, the entire interaction with the dark world coulda been avoided.

This cutscene is triggered even if you didn't talk to Noelle.
But it will change depending on what you told to Noelle about Susie.

Fun fact for Next video: At the start of Chapter 2, if you save instead of leaving the Dark World to gather everyone, it will have the regular CH1 save point visuals.
Just an interesting thing I noticed but I've yet to see anyone mention it, so, along the Snowgrave/Weird route, every now and then when you do something heinous we hear the weird little bleep (Once after her first few kills, when you tell her "It's Natural", when you force her to do the Second Mouse Puzzle).
In each instance, Kris isn't directly facing the camera... except once. When Noelle goes and solves the third mouse puzzle puzzle on her own, we hear to tone again, and Kris turns towards the camera. We can't see their face fully because of the fencing, but at the same time... in that exact position, at that exact moment, the fence makes it seem as though Kris has a devilish smile (If you're having a hard time seeing it, try speeding up a recording).
If anything, it reminds of of two other characters we've seen, who know too much, and who are breaking so much that they can't help but be [Smiling]. If I had to guess, I'd say the little tone is Kris reacting horridly to seeing what You are forcing them to do, what You've done to their childhood friend with their own hands and words, like it's Kris slowly but surely reaching their breaking point.
Of course, I could easily be reading into it too much, but hey, that's what makes it fun, no?

Its funny how I just got that when replaying the game fully and got that scene. It's honestly really sweet.

if you don't talk to alphys at all in ch1 after you come out of the dark world, she'll ask you about where you went after going to grab the chalk with some small additional dialogue in the class part of ch2.
If there's already a lot of easter eggs in chapter 2 i can't imagine how many there will be in chapter 7

yea it just happens if you talk to Noelle at the end of chapter 1, telling her about Susie liking chalk isnt a requirment

I've theorised it before, but events do happen between the games, you can see how Snowdin has evolved into a fully fledged village/town in Deltarune.
Most likely Noelle did a little digging of her own while we weren't there.

Side note: I believe there are connections between the 2 games but deltarune isn't a prequel nor a sequel to undertale and there are many things that prove it
It's really neat that such small things that you do in Chapter 1 can add a small extra scenario in Chapter 2, I can't imagine how many secrets this game will have when it's done with the 7 Chapters.

This is actually what I did in my playthrough and it was worth it for the great Healing item (for Susie at least).

One very worthy thing to do in chapter 1 is fixing the cake a returning to the chef. In Chapter 2, the spincake heals 100 of everyone, trully is a [Big Shot]
And every time you used it up, you'll get another!

theory about ralsei: the one in chapter 2 cyber world isnt the same one from the ch1 dark world as the entrance to the ch2 one is trough the light world and we never see him go there, therefore not being the same one and he mentions different copies of each dark world character which is why he never became rock

I don't get why all comments in this video saying "if Noelle give the chalk to alphys. Then this whole dark world thing wouldn't exist so does the Deltarune". But take note that Susie mention. "Yesterday" when she react to Kris sleeping during class..so basically, when Kris talks to Noelle was basically Yesterday. And so Noelle Buys a Cartoon of Chalks from Sans (I assume cause it the only store available) OR since she's rich she must have ask her mom to buy chalk for school purpose (My school does ask for materials from the students like Chalks, Mini Rags, Floorwax and Brooms for additional points) and so one of the assistant buy it for Noelle, just for her to gift it to Susie......

Ok, so the release day of Ch. 2 I wanted to make sure I would be able to transfer it, so I killed King, and went STRAIGHT to my house (After talking with Sans bcz he's chill, but no one else) and I still got the Chalk that turns into a Light Candy
I did chapter 1 after chapter 2 (on a new save), so I tried to get as much noelle dialogue out of it as possible. Then when I replayed chapter 2 on the chapter 1 file, this happened and I was confused lmao. But damn am I glad it happened.

@@kylemarkley7170 that makes sense, we know that Kris is the knight, and he probably was the one who made the fountain in the library, i don't think Noelle and Berdy went to the library before class started because the only ones who went late to class were Kris and Susie, so that means that you're right, Noelle didn't know about the dark world

But the folder Epic games STJFFF in the computer refferenced the final boss with rainbow wings.
In my opinion, this may correlate that the cyber world may come from that folder, and even though Spamton might have rainbow wings, he's still not the finall boss.
The game never seen thenlight of day anyways.

If you have chalk with you in The Dark World then you would get Light Candy which heals 120 HP. For me was so helpful against Spamton Neo.

Actually, you just need to use a chapter 1 save. I never talked to her other than the mandatory one to progress and when I started chapter two I had the chalk cutscene
