God has been so good to us and he is STILL good even in a cute and cozy studio with my little boy ❤️❤️❤️
Same here!! I’m a single mom of 3. Who barely escaped domestic violence. :( I’m working at getting the kids back. I was in a 2 bedroom. Kids were to come home, ex said no. landlord sold, so I had to move suddenly. Ended up in a room rental. The day before yesterday I found a studio, so tomorrow I sign the lease. And I get to keep our pets!
I can so relate to this life living in a studio with my 2 kids and bunk bed scenario with a trundle. I also had my phone fly off the roof of my car once when I was in a rush dropping my kids off at their sitter. I lost soo many precious photos that weren’t backed up. Thanks for showing the struggle and this side to life and that there is nothing wrong with it. You are lucky to have a bathtub in that studio because most only have a stand-in shower. I was living in a nice-sized 1 bedroom with my 2 kids and they raised the rent to $2130 and I just couldn’t do it anymore so I found a studio for a really amazing unheard of price in a good area for $1275 and we are making it work for the long haul. I am blessed and grateful to have been approved for it on my own when other places I didn’t meet the income requirements. The much lesser rent is totally life changing for me. I can afford a lot of other things now like a phone plan for my son, and not be so tight every month stressing out over the rent. I got a room divider and I really made the place look cute and we each have our own little corner 😅
You will always remember your first place. My husband and I shared an 8x15 foot travel trailer in Nevada in a small town. We had a toilet but no shower, running water, a 3 burner stove. We still remember that fondly. You have done a good job with your apartment. Be prkud of what you have done. God bless.

I love this so much.. I’m a stay at home mom and I have a toddler and I had her at 17 actually and I’m 22.. I’ve been praying for god to give us a place of our own as we’re welcoming another little girl into the family in January.. my mom is Amazing and so kind but we need our own space for our babies and a bed we can sleep in rather than the couch in my moms living room.. luckily God came along and found us a studio apartment (it’s a little smaller than yours) but it’s gonna be home! We move in this coming month and everything worked out so perfect that I get to continue being a stay at home mom bc my boyfriend found a great job that pays for more than everything we need! Life’s amazing and GOD IS GOOD!!! 💖💖

God always provides.. He gave you everything needed the Lord knows our needs. When I was pregnant with my son I got let go and all bills were left on my husband I didn’t get wic or snap so money was very tight God put everything we need for us at affordable prices a crib at ikea for $69 because was last in stock stroller was on sale as well on amazon my moms friend’s daughter from church gave me all her old baby clothes I hardly bought any clothes for like the whole first year he had stuff still wearing from that batch I found so many stuff red tag at Ross I see it like is all God because we wouldn’t have the means other wise. We are currently in a one bedroom apartment and rent has gone up but All Glory to God he never stops proving were the people who pay the least in the whole building because the landlord says we been here a while so he slowly raises the rent for us The Lord has touched his heart to bless us because this place is supposed to be 2k and up based on the area but God knows what he does this is just a stepping stone for you we all start somewhere.. God will give you one day the home you’ve dream of
I’m sure you’re not still there, but Dollar Tree is your friend. Cleaning supplies are expensive. You can buy everything you need at dollar tree. And it all works fine. I’m on social security and it’s just me so I’m ok. I’m disabled, and I frequent Dollar Tree. I don’t need to, anymore but I still go. I also buy my bath products there.
