The Blue Beetle movie reminds me of that joke from A Haunted House, where Fluffy says to the Wayans' guy "Do you think because I'm Latino, I have a big family, I drive in a low rider with a mexican horn?"

Your generalization of US born hispanics is quite appalling. I should not generalize immigrants but you have to admit that grammar is not the forte of the vast majority. And quite frankly, education for post-docs is far superior. I know many hispanics that came to do their medical fellowships here because it wasn’t quite as advanced as you claim it to be in their native countries. You’re probably not aware of the “chicanos” as you guys eloquently put it that have achieved much higher education levels than their Latin American counterparts.
